How much investment has gone to Eskom for that period. I bet not commensurate with that almost ten-fold increase in supply. Give Eskom money - by increasing power bills
AfriqueDuZuid:
under apartheid it serviced around 20%of the population which is rounghly 12%of todays population.

Today it services 94%of population(56.4 m) compared to 9m during apartheid

probably the tea production are controlled by the non Kenyans , so there is adequate supply of modern technology to maintain their business .

This people aren't kenyans, they are Indians with cash .
If there's any kind of serious drought, water production will be seriously affected and tea leaf will dry up on the farm.

Kenya is just lazy to produce food for it self

Tea grows in the highlands. Your farmibg knowledge seems to be limited to grasscutter farming..

Kenya geography 101
Most of the country lies in what is called Nyika plateau is typically dry, semi-arid and some arid.
The highlands are cold and wet - and is where most kenyans live
Nearly same situation with Ethiopia.

Despite tiny sliver of arable land - kenya has world class agriculture compared to many Sub-Sahara countries

Not true, eskom was generating more power comparing with what is happening now.
Even the money ( investment ) have increased but the power output have decreased.
Just read this stuff...

Kwani ni nini mmekuwa mkifamya hapa if not politics? Again nani ameongelea ukabila hapa? You are the first to mention it.

Sisi we are just stating the facts, there's no reason of lying to these people yet Kenyan economy is on her knees. I used to laugh at Ghana's economy last year. Today I'm even embarrassed to engage kazikazi in any economic and development discussion cause I know there's no current ongoing project to stick to. Who goes to Tanzania to ask for dollars?

Apart from Uhuru's projects, tell me which project can you proudly post here that was built by Ruto?

What Ruto and his crooks know is to throw money in some useless offices. I don't know Office to the first daughter, Office to Spouse of the Prime Cabinet and Office to Spouse of Deputy President?
Well said. No need to add anything

The beauty of beautifully planned and developed communities

Ghana domestic bond market restructuring has led to these good dividends. And explosion in monies available to institutional investors to the tune of 30 billion dollars for channeling into these various investment vehicles on the real estate sector.

It's not desperate.. it's the best decision ever.

Govt should never be competing with developers from the same investment pull it crowds our businesses.

This is why it will always make sense for Ghana's domestic debt to be lower than external. Infact, govt should completely stop borrowing from the domestic market.

Ghana gov will not be able to borrow outside IMF/WB/ADB for sometimes.
Domestic and Intl debt market will lock out Ghana - and they will take some time to forget about their recent losses - and trust Ghana bonds.
Yes it good thing that it wont be crowding private sector in lending business
That might be only silver linning on this mess.
