Stop this show of ignorance bro. The UK has a scheme where it gives grants to home owners for installing home solar system for household use.

When excess electricity is generated, that household do not use, it can then be sold back into the national grid creating the cumulative generation, to serve everyone.

This essentially makes the roof of every UK household an electricity generator and grid contributor. It is the sort of scheme that can work wonderfully well in Lagos if it can be financed innovatively.
