OGa there are ethics and code of conduct in journalism, if the intent of invite was to talk about fayose life or personality, IF he accepts Fine !

Most obidients are PDP members. They are hypocrites. Can someone provide their assessment of Fayose and Wike pre 2022? They couldn't have been in mars when Wike provided almost 2 million votes in the 2015 presidential election for PDP in river states via widescale rigging, when Fayose was rigging for PDP in 2014 governorship election , attacking and shooting opposition members during 2015 presidential election.

I am so certain that the 2023 presidential election is one of the freest and fairest election ever in Nigeria. It is the closest to reality we ever had.

My wish is that Supreme court will cancel the presidential election and ask for it to be done again. Obidients will wish the didn't go to court.

Fayose was right when he said that going by the Nigerian context during elections (rigging, vote buying and other irregularities), BAT was the rightful winner. This is also the premise that BATists use to justify his victory when they say words like "obi rigged in the east, how can he have 97%, the smartest man won" and other pItiable statements. Well its clear that a particular set of supporters want Nigeria to remain corrupt and unprogressive while another set envisage a better Nigeria. If BAT will come out and swear to build strong institutions and a transparent government and make corruption a thing of the past, I believe the people who see a working Nigeria in PO will enjoy the ride. However, it's just wishful thinking

I am not surprised by the manner he often conducted himself on air. Abati aside from his role in Dansuki gate was PDP Buruji Kasamu Deputy Governorship candidate in Ogun 2019 and the owner of Arise tv,thisday newspaper is a strong PDP chieftain from Delta. So I am not surprised about what has become of that station.

Nigerians invested so much in this election, and expectations were high. Ofcourse, we know elections in Nigeria have been very bad, but we expected this to be different, and at the end, we taking back to square one

What has age got to do with the questions Rufai asked Fayose? Was it Rufai who levelled the allegations against Fayose in 2014? Was his question on the conduct of the elections just held untrue with regards electoral violence, rigging and voter intimidation? Why was Fayose taking it so personal?


Why couldn't Fayose just respond that such recording was never substantiated and move on to the main question which was about his shameless endorsement of the shameful elections just concluded? Of course Fayose could have done that but chose to make a mountain out of a molehill and whip up drama to detract attention from the key issues raised in the questions Rufai posed to him.

When eventually Fayose replied the question what he could say is that there is need for a total overhaul of the electoral system and the voters. What does that mean? He endorsed the shameful elections held because he feels Nigerians currently are not good enough to deserve better elections. And truly, you're seeing so many People justifying the violence in Lagos in the state elections and the rigging done throughout because it was in the favour! So what happens tomorrow when other elections are conducted in like manner with voter intimidation, rigging and violence and it's not in their favour? All these Yorubas celebrating putting down the ibos. What if tomorrow in the midst of such violence their family members are injured or killed? Would such violence still be acceptable?
