Yeah, "earned it" by emptying Lagos coffers and plunging it into very severe debt while his mates were saving money in investment funds while leaving office.

One a chronic kleptocrat, the other, a prudent technocrat enjoying genuine love of the masses.

So Tinubu cannot meet the CJN in Abuja

Tinubu cannot place a phone call to the CJN

Both parties cannot send associates to discuss whatever business they have

CJN have to disguise on wheelchair and travel to London to meet Tinubu

How do you disguise on a wheelchair though?

Is it like one of those magical seats that makes the occupant invisible? grin

The heir to hundeyin

In the abroad they offer wheelchairs to aged people queueing in airports as a standard.

The author of the article knows this. But he also knows his audience are unexposed bumpkins so here we are.

I am forced to wonder how a wheelchair constitutes a disguise. Maybe next they will say cjn is wearing glasses as a disguise as well.

DECOLONIZATION OF AFRICAN NAMES

"Names are marks of cultural identity. One's name identify where one comes from, the language one speaks and who one is. This is why Europeans have European names, Arabs have Arabic names.

Likewise, Africans have African names. Before the invasion of Africa by Europeans and Arabs with Christianity and Islam, Africans named their children with African names. In Africa, names are significant.

Names are not given any how. African names have special meanings. Africans give their children names based on events and circumstances that surround their births.

During slavery, African slaves were forcefully christened European names during baptism into Christianity while Moslem slaves were given Arabic names - names that DO NOT HAVE MEANING to Africans.

This is still being practised among African Christians and Muslims today.

Christianity and Islam were brought to obliterate African culture and one of the means of doing that is to give Africans Christian and Islamic names. Christianity came with European culture while Islam came with Arabic culture.

Religion is an instrument of cultural war. This is why African men and women who get converted to Christianity and Islam are given Christian or Islamic names.

European and Arab names are slave names. They remain the indelible marks of slavery because it was during slavery that Africans were forced to take foreign names.

In 1969, while in Los Angeles to tour and record Koola Lobitos, Fela dropped his given middle name of "Ransome" which he said was a SLAVE NAME, and took the name "Anikulapo" (meaning "he who carries death in his pouch).

A slave name according to Wikipedia is 'the personal name given by others to an enslaved person, or a name inherited from enslaved ancestors.'

In the 1960s Africans in the diaspora in the Americas who were seeking a reconnection to their African cultural roots changed their slave names and took African names.

Similarly, the descendants of Muslim Arab and Christian Europeans living in Africa have Arabic and European names which shows their roots. Our tribal names are our identity.

We must not allow them to be taken away from us. Let's give our children names in our languages in order to preserve our identity. For a man without an identity is like a tortoise 🐢 without a shell"

If you bear slave names and you're called a slave, no right thinking person should see that as an abuse.

Europeans bear names like David, Paul, saul, Moses, Mary. Now these are names are Hebrew names, not English or European in origin.

So are the Europeans who bear these names slaves to the Hebrews?

I'm not in for your silly questions this morning. Stop mentioning me anyhow. First educate yourself about the history of colonialism and slavery in Africa and how the first European and Arabic names made their way into Africa before committing the fallacy of false equivalence.

Technically, they are not Hebrew names but have Hebrew Origins.

Wheelchairs are provided in airports for elderly people. Nothing new.

And experienced fliers often hold their previous passports together with the new one.

But I still don't trust Tinubu or the CJN.

Make your own submission about why African history is useless and why African cultures should be abolished.

If I ask you to quote where I said Russia isn't sovereign now, you'd disappear. Empty brain.

There are many imbes like you on Nairaland which is a forum known for its low quality of engagement.

"African history is useless and has no value. Africans should abolish their cultures and adopt the English culture."

This is what you call a submission.

Both of you have empty brains.

The first European and Arabic names made their way into Africa through the trans-Atlantic slave trade. The first Africans that bore the European and Arabic names you see today were slaves.

Nothing dey una head except silly propaganda. And they are even trying foolishly to wipe away African history.

If you believe the first people that bear names like Michael, James, and the likes in Europe were slaves, present your evidence (I don't know where you want to find it).

This one calls himself an intellectual but he's committing a fallacy of false equivalence all about.

The dimwit can narrate the history of the US from the period the Britons moved to the land to the most recent time but know next to nothing about the history of his home town and the Ibo culture, which he says is useless and barbaric.

I'd ignore any unnecessary mention on this topic. I'm not here to be discussing moronic takes like "African history is useless".

Some of the most vibrant, heavily funded ministries in Asian countries like China, India, Saudi Arabia are the ministry of culture.

The same thing applies to the European countries, American countries, and others.

But you'd find it difficult convincing the average African why the African cultures are key to the survival of the black race, things even kids know in other regions of the world.

They're just too dull.
