Gbengenedon: Yes you apply by yourself. For your admissions your honestly do not need an agent. Go to you tube and start your research. By the next 2 weeks you will be amazed at the wealth of knowledge you have acquired. Secondly research so many schools in all province research on cost of living, reasearch on easy PR pathways. Research on the acceptance rate of each school. Lastly and very important research on tuition. So you are not surprise after pay application fee. Best of too.. As an addition your can research on colleges too. They are usually faster more affordable and well recognized programs.... 1 Like |

QUEENBIZ: 1. Decide on a course he wants to study, if he has been working, then a course related to his present work will be ideal. 2. With that course in mind start searching online for schools that offer that course and their admission requirements. (You can reach out to Bullstriker on this thread for help here) 3. Be gathering your POF, the bigger the better but sources of the fund must be identified and if you have lump/huge deposits in the account you must explain. 4. When you say CV and SOP review, are you saying have it ready and you need a second eye to look over it? Or you want someone to draft something for you? |

Hello guys, I have been following this thread for a long while, gathering as much information as I can to apply for a study permit. I must say, this thread is a knowledge goldmine, I took all the information I needed on the process from here and went ahead to make the application myself. I was very intentional and thorough with the documentation, and with God's grace, it got approved. So, if you are here reading this and about to submit an application, trust me you can do it, all the information you need is on this thread. Lastly, I would like to appreciate everyone who make the painstaking effort to respond to people's queries and questions, y'all are the real MVPs, thank you. Timeline: Application: 17th January, 2023. (With Upfront Medicals) Biometrics: 25th January, 2023. Medical Request: 21st February, 2023. Medicals Updated: 13th March, 2023. Passport Request: 21st March, 2023. 12 Likes |

[quote author=Bobomaigida post=120536556] Hello Bobomaigida, I sold my car for 7.5 million and I transfer the funds to my elder sister's account, I later told her to transfer it to my account and I am planning to do a gift of the deed. Hope they will not ask me to submit her account statements because I am the one that transfers the money to her. |

Bobomaigida:Thanks for your response, he had actually applied to two school for construction project engineer which was in line with his work experience as a self employed and his application was denied. His company is dedicated to property management, building construction, and sales of various kinds of landed properties. And As a Director in his company with the years of experience he have had so far in his line of business, I think his CV and SOP have not properly addressed his duties. Hence the refusal, so I think if he can get someone to help look at his CV and SOP with second eye and adjust if there’s need. As per the fund, he has worked on this over the time. |

heywhytech1: Your agent is not being truthful with you. Nothing is wrong with logging in into the portal. What kind of POF deal did your agent arrange for you? It's either a medical request or a procedural fairness letter (a letter that almost always precedes a ban due to misrepresentation.) Your agent is intentionally telling you he can't login for sinister reasons. If you can find a way to extract your login details out of him, the better for you. 2 Likes |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by BenedictStinson(m): 2:36am On Mar 25, 2023 |
danherb:Take your Biometrics instruction letter, VFS, appointment letter, two photocopies of your passport and the passport itself. Go with a pen as well. They might ask you to write it on the photocopy (phone number and email but I think this was during passport submission for stamping and not the biometrics itself), they might not. It's nothing to panic over 1 Like |
