A midfield trio of iwobi (AM), Onyeka (cm) and ndidi (dm) would hv won this game easily

At least an Nwakali could have helped in the midfield instead of a Musa!

Musa should be the least person you people should be blaming abeg

How many minutes did he spent on the pitch self

The that Naija line up would not control a game against my Sunday league team. We will play 4-5-1 in a compact defensive manner and stifle them so hard Osimhen wont have more that 5 touches all game at best!

The problem with the team was the same during Rohr's last days and Peseiro has continued with it.

THERE IS NO bleeping BALANCE!!!!!!!!

Shoe horning forward players into midfield positions does not magically turn them into midfielders!

It's one thing to spring long passes intermittently to the strikers but basing your entire game on this is a joke! Stooopid!!! I'm so annoyed.

There was a shot Chukwueze narrowly missed in the second half, prior to which Osayi had a chance to square the ball to Osimhen who was free .instead he controlled it and waited before passing to Chukwueze.. Osimhen was visibly angry ..

Saw that moment. I even thought it was Moses. That was why I called him a fool then.

Trust me the pitch played a major part in the result today, if we had played Sao tome here, we wouldn't have scored much talk less of the 9 goals we scored against them in Morocco. They should take lessons from the groundsmen at the godswill akpabio stadium. Until proper job is done at MKO stadium, all our matches should be played at uyo.

Ndidi's style of play is too dull, sluggish, and uninspiring for our midfield.

I am not blaming Musa.
If the coach had a solid midfield option he would have get him on quicker!

It isn't just about the groundsmen.. The pitch was overused.. The super eagles and the u-23 have been training there since Monday everyday...And the u-23 had a game there a few days ago too...
So definitely it was gonna look like that..

This habit of holding on to the ball and making unnecessary dribbles seems to be engrained in our players anytime they wear the GWG... Iwobi is one of the few expectations..

was it not under rohr we had to wait for the final game to get to the final round of the wcq in a group we were supposed to win comfortably?. Abeg dead that agenda. Imagine using one gbef to downgrade another gbef

Excuses upon excuses. It's because of people like you that our football is in the rot it currently is in.

That person you called gbef qualified us WITH A GAME TO SPARE from a group that had Cameroon, Algeria and Zambia.

That gbef qualified us for AFCON, a tournament we failed to qualify for in back to back editions even with our dearest local coaches.

That gbef won us the only medal we've won in the past 10 years.

That gbef's only flaw was subpar gameplay, a draw with Sierra Leone and a loss to C.A.R but he made up for those setbacks with victories in the 2nd legs of the respective matches.

That gbef met ALL his targets given to him by the NFF even whilst being owed for months but was still sacked unreasonably because of people who thought we could do better with our so called world class players.

Since you replaced that gbef, has your team made any notable success?

The earlier you realise that gbefs get grade, the better for you.

You sacked a Grade C coach only to replace him with Grade E Eguavoen and Peseiro. No be ment be that? undecided undecided

I agree with you! Oshimen does not need another striker obstructing his movement. Put an iwobi behind him.

Osimehn needs to calm down with his body language whenever things don’t go his way. This is one of the reasons why Cristiano is hated. He will get away with this attitude if he keep scoring but the moment that he stops scoring like today, it’s a toast.

You are very observant, unfortunately the coaches don't work on the psych and attitude of their players.

maybe a midfield of iwobi onyeka and Onyedika
ndidi’s game is built on breaking up play. He isn’t a good ball carrier and base on the formation he was forced to bomb forward occasionally which he isn’t suited for

If he was paired with Onyeka who will serve as the b2b midfielder ndidi would hv had the room to screen the back four perfectly

Never.

The ndidi that played today was playing CAM, winger and SS not holding midfield.

Ndidi is a holding midfielder as long as his not playing holding midfield then he should be benched.

A midfield of iwobi, Nwakali, onyeka and bonke or a holding midfield ndidi would have won the game.

Or iwobi, nwakali and bonke or holding midfield ndidi.

Rohr's new team just struggled to get a draw against Sao Tome that we thrashed grin cheesy

Rohr started well with the super eagles, but along the way he lost it and the team was deteriorating... Peserio is just much worse...
Point of correction, Sierra Leone just struggled to get a draw against São Tomé. Rohrs new team is Benin Republic, they got a draw against Rwanda I think. Rohr always found a way, if we played badly or not.
