Of course he will get an offer. School can give a 60yrs old offer to study an undergraduate program but passing immigration will be the issue. Hence I asked if a 33yrs old can do a Bsc top up. Admission is sure but will they give him visa Mcleo007: |

I asked you how long it took you to get an offer from University of Sussex but you didn't reply or maybe you are yet to reply. Now you are asking about National Open University of Nigeria. Well I will reply you. Yes I graduated from National Open University of Nigeria. I have offers in UK, Canada, I have NARIC and WES evaluation certificate as well..so your friend is good to go. We should learn to give reply to people's question because you never can tell who will have an idea to your next question. Kindly tell me how long it took you to get reply from University of Sussex. Thank you. imolemiimole: 1 Like |

Please I need someone to give me an insight on what I should expect when I finally relocate to the UK. I have 2+ years of experience as a software developer here in Nigeria with a bachelors degree in computer science. I’m looking at doing my masters in software engineering or any closely related course. I don’t have all the money for tuition and all. In fact, I have 6m for this project. I intend to work as to pay my balance and other bills. Can I get a part time job as a software developer there? I have a fiancé but I don’t have the funds to bring her as dependent for now, so she’s out of the picture for now. I will appreciate a detailed reply from anyone as this will make me take a better decision. I plan to come by January next year. Thanks 🙏🏽 duchess doyinluv justwise |

worried222: The truth of the matter is, you can't work to pay up the balance for your tuition fee, as you're only limited to 20hrs/week for work... The best thing would have been for you to bring in your wife as a dependant, but since you say you don't have enough funds to finance Dependant.. The best advice now is to hustle & gather more funds 2 Likes |

Loko40: No sir, wait till you decide on which school you’re going for. Alternatively, you can use an address of any of the schools but you will have to come back later for correction which will cost you time and money. |

dduchess90: I don’t totally agree with you. To avoid non straight forward email, it is in your own interest to use your sponsor’s (school) address for the TB test. |

Priceless25: Yes, for each year you study in the UK you will have to pay IHS fee for it. However, having a placement year is an advantage for you, you have an extra year away from school to work full time and save some money for yourself even before you graduate. The work experience which boost your CV is there too. Note: you may have to found this job for yourself as the ones schools provides are few chased by so many students and so very competitive. Overall, I will go for Northampton that has that placement year if I were you and of course it is a wonderful school with lots of Nigerians. 1 Like |

Priceless25: I was in your shoes at some point, and I stayed back, but guess what? The school fees were increased, and I have to use my additional savings to cover the additional fee, which made my waiting next to nothing. So if you keep on waiting, you might have to keep on using your savings to match up with increments, and together with this inflation, which will make your staying back next to nothing unless you are expecting a big contract. Also remember that policy might change at any time which might make the processing more difficult. Let me give you some tips that might help you.... First of all, you have to find a very affordable school with a good payment plan. If you have a 9, 10+ pounds balance after your deposit and a bad payment plan, you might not be able to meet up. Secondly, find a student to tell you how strict the school is in terms of payment deadlines. There are a lot of schools that are very fair and there are schools that will give you high blood pressure if you are yet to complete your school fees payment, but you have to know before you jump into it. Also, plan to get to the UK early. Getting in early will let you get a job before the rush, and you will be able to get budget-friendly accommodation before the rush, also you can work as long as you want before school resumes and you know what that means to sorting your bills. Before leaving Naija be sure that you have been able to get the maximum amount of money you can get (from relatives, sale of properties and the likes) In addition, someone said if you have your wife as a dependent, she can help. 😂😂😂 Bro, if you are a guy and you want to go to school and your wife will work, believe me, it will be a traumatic experience for both of you (not in all cases though). My university roommate who is in the UK and schooling while the wife works said the wife cries every night that she wants to go back to Nigeria as the pressure is too much. Imagine someone who wants to leave a soft life and you now want her to carry the major responsibility, unless you will make her school while you work don't have it as a plan to make your wife work to cover your school fees payment, pay bills and at the same time do the wife role. Lastly, as a tech guy it will be best to have a high-paying remote job with you even if the payment is in naira while in the UK, it will help to sort out bills and cover up some expenses while you also do your student job to earn in pounds, most especially when you are still trying to settle down.
