Immediately the news of chude's arrest got to the internet. There were lot of motives and reasons flying around. Accusation fingers were pointed and allegations thrown.

Peter Obi, as usual wade into the matter nonchalantly and issued a statement on his official twitter handle concerning the arrest. In that tweet, he lambasted the government, and criticised the way the country is being run, he kept going on and on about how the country's 'performance in the rule of law has declined' attributing the arrest to government suppression, oppression and bad leadership. He went on and painted the way he would want his own dream Nigeria to look like; 'where citizens can have different thought about us, and we have the right to reply' - he stated.

After Chude was released, chude issued an apology to sir Emeka offor by making a video, apologising and admitting to wrongdoing as an instigator of fake news.

An admission Contrary to how Peter Obi painted the whole saga back then. This is just one out of the so many cases we've experienced on how Peter Obi was always very quick to drag the government, the judiciary,the law enforcement agencies performing their duties and the country as a whole in the mud. One time is a mistake, but when it occurs many times; it is pleasure.

Someone like Peter Obi, one of the top citizens we have in the country, who has access to some information the regular citizens of the country don't. Should have made his findings, equipped himself with convincing evidence before rushing to tweets accusations , allegations, and some degrading words targeted at the law enforcement agencies and meant to drag the country's image in the dirt.

Peter Obi need to know he is now a public figure not twitter influencer that react to anything and everything without first making findings. He should learn the act of decorum and stop heating up the polity. I dont know what he is always hoping to achieve with these constant anti laws-enforcement tweets and utterances but what i know his that if he is hoping to set the country into chaos by encouraging lawlessness because of his personal ambition. It will affect him too because no one rules over lawless country.
