Telecom companies use to be the 'Dream' for Electrical/Computer engineering graduates. I don't know the status of things now. Everyone is running towards software development especially , even those that have started their careers as Transmission/Microwave/Fiber/Network/IP engineers are looking towards software development. Is the telecom space not as lucrative? I heard the only ones making it big in this space are those with 10+ years experience, the Senior Managers and the GM. What happened to all the craze to have CCNA, CCNP, CCIE? Everywhere is just silent in this space. What do you think guys? |

Depends on where in the telco space. I work for a US VoIP/MVNO telco and there's a fair bit of demand in that space |
