At this point, I don't mind having nwakali a few good midfielders in NPLF in the midfield, Nwakali is slow but even Mikel Obi was, his talent is evident.

A game is mostly won in the midfield but we keep reminding our inept and clueless coaches how important it is to have performing midfielders in our team regardless of where they ply their trades.

Nwakali is a talent, every midfielder mustn't be a work horse, we need midfielders with football sense who can make right passes in a split second.

Secondly, we don't have a coach and we seriously need one

That's what happens when you sack a coach without having a proper replacement. The problem with most Nigerians is pride. We don't have the money to hire a Grade A foreign coach but we had a Grade C coach who delivered on all the targets given to him by the NFF and ended up sending him away because of his style of play.


I'll keep saying this: When we're ready to progress in this country, we will. We're not ready at all.


Virtually every sector in this country is bleeding. Football cannot be an exception.

Guinea Bissau do not resemble a 118th ranked team. They are way better than that ranking and they are well coached.

Factors affected that Arsenal game. It was very obvious. From the coach's replacement to the discipline of Everton low block. You can't ever compare to this GB team cos they weren't even super close to discipline at the back. Yet.

Let's call a spade it's name. That is extremely poor. Nobody looks at efforts if it doesn't bring results, especially for two unequal teams like GB and Nigeria. Haba!

We can't continue to hope for acumen and pedigree when it is not useful on days like this. Which one is normal day, normal day? Even for the GB guys, the fact they almost score again is absolutely abnormal.

One habit our players have that affect the team's performance is their poor decision making on the ball.. Some are fond of holding on to the ball unnecessary.. Etebo is very guilty of that..in fact it's an aspect of his game that makes him a liability to the team.. His presence yesterday won't have made any difference...

Rohr sacking is always viewed from one lens always. Barely do we focus on the effect it had on the team itself. That factory reset is mental. Besides, the quality of the replacement can be a booster to morale or otherwise. That's where Nff no get sense.

1. Improve the creativity of our midfield
2. Bring in more creative players and passers into the team
However, he cannot read a game on time and make tactical changes
and that was his downfall
Also, against ghana he allowed himself to be confused and drop Nwakali
when we needed him in midfield.
Someone convinced him to try iheanacho in midfield and the stuff did not work
He could have continued with what he did in the afcon and stuck with nwakali given
iwobi was not available

At this point, Harve Renard would even prefer to coach Spain's Under 10 team than the Super Eagles. Not every coach can take the nonsense that the NFF is fond of.
