The school is for learning and not for any other thing. Issues on sexuality should be left to parents to discuss with their kids. The earth being flat is a topic in Geography and science which can be tested on standardized tests all over the world

Issue is sexual preference is personal and should be left to the parents or with parents approval. Parents sending their kids to school are in agreement to be taught what is on the school curriculum trying to smuggle other things into it is what is wrong

I will trust majority of parents on issues affecting their own childrens learning and what they should not and not someone forcing their own. If you want to tech your own kids about sexuality be free to do it, If I don't want to there should also be that freedom

Many parents are sending their kids to schools to be taught Maths, Science English etc and other things outside the approved curriculum should get the parents advise

I can not agree with this.

First, sex and sexuality is part of learning, since it would occupy quite a lot of a child's growing up and life long living. Not teaching about it is like not teaching social skills.

Second. Parent me might teach my children about sex and sexuality and the issues involved, like how to not get pregnant, or catch a disease, or to not let some grubby person touch where they'd not want, but the children of others might be learning rubbish from Andrew Tate because their parents can't teach them properly or at all. So I would want all children to be taught in school also so they are all on the same page. After all, it's not as if they can teach my well educated by me girl that she is a boy, especially since I'd be on her school's parent-teacher's association too.

And if you are wondering at what age. From when they are at least 5, by me, since I'd want to start early to empower them to protect their self from the predators out there, and by 8 at least in school, since I'd want all children to learn to protect themselves too.

Personally, only predators or those who believe their child's teacher is teaching their child to be a not born in gender would not want their child to learn in school about sex and it's issues, In which case, such parents are irresponsible, for they should at least know what education they are buying for their child and that it suits its intended purpose of protecting the child.

And by the way, calling it "sex education" is the same as calling HB1557 the "Don't Say Gay" Bill.
