Hello All, I generated an invoice via flywire which I uploaded on the trades portal. Today, I went back to the flywire website, and I'm seeing my payment transaction there as cancelled. The thing is that I changed the currency from CAD to USD meaning it cancelled the initial invoice but didn't update the portal to reflect the invoice I generated in USD. As it is now, there's no record of the current invoice on the portal and that is the invoice I uploaded on trades system portal. What do I do? Do I create another payment on the flywire portal and upload the new invoice on trades portal? I've sent a message to their support team but no response yet. Make una no ignore me o. Pls. |

I'll advice anyone generating invoice via flywire should just use USD 1 Like |

toyin03:I don't understand. Any currency you use on flywire should match the currency on trade portal. Do not upload a new invoice on your trade portal. Wait for their support team to reply you as they'll likely extend the date on the invoice 1 Like |

Bobomaigida: Ok noted. As for explaining my relationship with document, he is my elder bro and we bear same name. He stated it in his sponsorship letter just as I did in my SOP. I think I agree with you in some of the other issues you have raised above. Again, please how do I order for my GCMS notes? What's the procedure please? |

Phew! Knowing that they are still reviewing applications and haven’t started sending out offers puts my mind at ease…I was starting to get in my head…Anyway, I see you’re also a PhD applicant like me…What’s your intended major? DNAconverter: |

Aghoghomena: Stating it in his sponsorship letter is not enough, add your documents like pictures you have taken together your birth certificate and his or int'l passports, cos the VO might say there a "limited demonstration of relationship between applicant and sponsor beyond a mere written document". Search on Google for GCMS request, please request for CBSA GCMS notes, and I think someone also posted a link some 4 pages back for GCMS request, check it out. 1 Like |

Youthmaster1: Apply for your GCMS notes immediately, they might have forgotten about the app, and start sending emails to major processing centres like Beijing, Nairobi,Lagos* , London, Ottawa, send your mails twice day and schedule them to be sent 8am and 3pm Nairobi time, let the suCject be URGENT: APPLICATION PAST PROCESSING TIME. |

Waxus: How long is the programme? - Statement of account - Sponsorship letter - Documents to explain your relationship (Pictures, past help from him to you) - Documents to show his sources of income. (If he is a Biz man CAC docs, board resolution to help you, invoices, receipts) (if he is salary earner- payslips, letter of introduction) |

Good day nairalanders. I want to know if my boss at work can stand as my sponsor. I have been living with her and her family for one year now. I applied for a year program, we agreed that she will pay for one semester and I will pay for the second semester, and she has a place where I can stay for free in the province I’m going to. We are not related in anyway, though from the same region. Thank you |

Aghoghomena: https://atip-aiprp.apps.gc.ca/atip/requesterInformation You can apply free via the link .. choose privacy act option cos a foreign national outside of Canada can only be eligible to make a request under privacy act only. Also Canada border service agency as department you would like to request info from .. cos cbsa processes d gcms notes faster than ircc , with cbsa u can get ur notes on or before 30days 1 Like 1 Share |

benedictuyi: I was just shocked to see "payment cancelled" on the portal and I didn't cancel it. I'll just wait for them to respond as suggested. Thank you. UPDATE Flywire just sent me a new link to be able to track my payment. The link isn't reflecting on my dashboard at all. |

January 2023 Admission, I applied for the study Visa last July. Did biometrics & medicals submitted my application in August 2022. First day of November 2022 my application was refused "the officer didn't think I'll leave after my study" . I remember been so hurt. I deferred my admission to September 2023, intensified my Permanent Residency application and got ITA in February. Just so I can get back my tuition fee in full lol. I decided to apply for study visa again expecting a refused i Submitted the same documents & i was very nonchalant about it. To my surprise I got a Passport Request for the new study visa this March Even if you get refused the first time, don't let your head drop & give up. Another officer might just approve you 11 Likes 1 Share |

toyin03: It's good you wait. Did they give any deadline like the way CIBC usually give 3 days? If yes and you have initiated your payment via form A, there is no need requesting for another 1 Like |

Aghoghomena: A gift deed is like an agreement written by one party expressing that he/she has given money to another party as gift, which is not expected to be repaid. The deed is used by sponsors and any other party to dash money to applicants which the applicant can use as they like. SO when you receive N5m from your uncle,BF,GF etc into your account, the sender will sign the deed wherein they will state why they have dashed you that money, so when you write your SOP you can state it there that you have received a gift from Mr IBu my uncle which will be used to support you either to pay tuition or living expenses. |

Amyamyamy: @Amyamyamy, please what do you upload for English proficiency instead of TOFEL or IELTS, because the post graduate certificate I want to apply for require IELTS. Can I upload My waec and BSC certificate instead since my first language is English or can I get English proficiency from my University? Thank you for your response |
