In the days of Westerhof , Chukwueze will always play from the bench. A tactical coach will also drop him to the bench until he learns to play with the team. His selfish play is getting out of hand. When he supposed pass to Osihmen he played rubbish. 5 Likes 1 Share |

samtol4: Everyone wants to bully chukwueze and is mute about osimehn. Osimehn was even worse than chukwueze over these 2 games and didn’t justify that 100 million price tag. He is powerful, fast, determined, but he needs to improve on positional awareness, missing sitters and anger management but I have been saying this for over few years. 9 Likes |

TheSuperNerd: You see, many people on here just argue based on emotions and not facts or truth. Anyone who stands for truth will know that Osimhen tried his best and is still trying his best for the team. Many times I've said he should even be made the captain of the team 'cos he's the only one that see fxxk ups on the pitch and tries to call the person in question to order. Whenever he makes a mistake himself, you see him tryna correct it at all costs. If Peseiro no know him work at least let another person try to do it. Mbappé na Osimhen mate o and he's already the captain of the French national team wey get big names for football. Omo even if na me, the frustration go show. I don't know if you've not been in a situation where you're just trying to get results with passion but results no gree come. Only you go dey shout for yourself, not to talk of when you need people around you to achieve a collective aim and they're jonzing. Watch every Osimhen's interview, he's never talked about himself alone but about the team, how he can help the team and how the team can help him - both in Napoli and The SE Squad. Man's just concerned. Forza Osimhen 👑 2 Likes |

TheSuperNerd: I'm not doubting Osimhen's quality. He's a good striker. He has his flaws here and there with regards to positional awareness and finishing off chances but he's still a good striker. No doubt about that. The reason for my initial statement is that from what I noticed, Zaidu didn't seem happy with his complaints. There's nothing wrong with telling your teammates how you want things done but when you become notorious for constantly yelling at them and blaming them, they will revolt. By your analogy, Moses Simon as the captain should have been angry and shouted at Osimhen for all the chances he missed in both legs. The thing is in people's minds, yelling has now become synonymous with leadership. Messi doesn't shout. He does all his talking with the ball at his feet. How many times have you seen Modric yell at his teammates? What about Cavani? What about Aguero? What about Harry Kane? Leadership is not all about shouting. You can motivate and ginger your teammates without blaming them every time especially when you make mistakes too. 2 Likes |

Osimhen na correct player. Highly talented and passionate. He always gives his all in our matches. He hit the woodwork today and could have scored at least a goal today if Chukwueze had a brain. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Largebanned2:.No sir, you did not get my point. Nobody bullies anyone. It is clear Chukueze is a good player , however his indecision and selfish play are huge minor to the team. Who told you Messi hasn't shouted before? And so because Modric hardly talks, that is the leadership style that must be followed? Leadership is done in different ways and not in the way that you want to box it into. And bringing up Simon is funny. Same guy who frustrates even you and many fans in several games? He even missed one of the best 2 chances in Abuja. Why does he get to talk? 😂😂😂😂 The point remains that Osimhen has literally been the saviour of this team times without number and always gives his best. Always. So he has every right to demand more of his teammates. Simple. And stop painting the false narrative that Osimhen does this "shouting" everytime. It is misleading. And making mistakes like the 2 big chances he missed today which I literally already referenced doesn't make him any less of a leader and the biggest gun we have today in the Super Eagles. Blueelf: Look at the pure ridiculousness that comes out of our mouths when things don't go our way. Kudus that was one of the best players at the world cup is now a club merchant? And u sef, u get mind to cosign such nonsense. Osimhen with 5 goals in the AFCON Qualifiers, a club merchant because God didn't send him to die for our sins and surprise surprise he is not perfect. U can put Prime Messi on the Super Eagles and he will still have bad games once in a while. 4 Likes 3 Shares |

He can do that off the bench. Aribo won't start in an ideal Super Eagles midfield especially not with the options we have if we truly look at all current options. COOL10: 1 Like 1 Share |

So people just found out Osimhen shouts? Next u will tell me his hair is blonde I don't get it, should he whisper sweet nothings in their ear when they are not playing for the team? The same Samu he shouts at most is his best friend on the team. Napoli surely don't have a problem either since he is part of the team’s leadership group. 4 Likes 2 Shares |

TheGoodJoe: I usually regard you as one of those who look beyond the scoreline to analyse how well we played devoid of emotions, unlike many here. However, I think I might have been wrong about that. Excluding the bunch of missed chances we had, can you objectively point out how exactly we played nonsense and in disarray? Now let's assume Osimhen buried the one on one chance and the woodwork miss, and Chukwueze buried his one on one opportiunity, the game would have ended 4-nil. Note that these actions are just a little section of the overall gameplay. In that case, would you have still said that we played in disarray? Be honest. |

TheSuperNerd: Lol, now this conversation is over-stretching and I'm feeling sleepy already but I'll say this: If you say Osimhen has every right as a result of his past performances despite his current poor form over the past two matches or so, to criticize his teammates, then Moses Simon AS THE CAPTAIN of the team also has EVERY right to criticize Osimhen for missing chance after chance after chance. It's only logical. Moses Simon even has more say than him in the team. Concerning your 2nd to last paragraph, it is not a narrative, it's a fact that is glaring for all to see. As a matter of fact, he's becoming quite notorious for it 😄. People may dismiss it and love to term it as a trait of a passionate player but I'm calling it out for it's disruptive tendencies, especially when you look at it from the standpoint of a teammate and how it could affect the team negatively. But like the popular saying: To each his own 🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️ Goodnight 👌 2 Likes |

samtol4: Chukwueze is not even selfish. Even Osimhen missed a one-on-one set up solely by Chukwueze in the second half. 80% of left-footed wingers today will attempt that chance rather than lay a pass. My issue with him is that his conversion rate is too poor for the amount of chances he creates, the run was good, the footwork as well, but the finish poor AF. In that case he should just pass. Taking that chance is usually what a winger would likely do, however if he hasn't improved on burying chances, he should not remind us of how poor his finishing can be. |

JohnBullMySon: My view is playing with a pattern. Yes, we went gung-ho and threw our arsenal at them but our play lacked a credible pattern. There is no system in our build-up play (to the best of my preference). 1 Like |

daveP: This first paragraph is so true. This was something moses Simon tried to do in our first two games at afcon and couldn't sustain. Chukwueze on the other hand has produced such moments in bits of flashes. He produced a master-class performance at the AFCON 2019 against Cameroon where I think he scored. The next time Chukwueze did this was at last afcon last year where he got a goal in our group stage match again, and I feel it all boils down to something, which is they lack ability to give top class performances consistently. We are not getting the bite and creative harm of our attacking wingers on this consistent level. That was the beauty of victor moses and when he failed to perform at his last world cup he called it quit with the national team. I indeed understand victor moses decision to retire before the 2019 AFCON but I wished he played in the tournament because that tournament will have been easier for him as compared to the world cup, his technicality against teams like Burundi, Madagascar which we struggled against in group stage will have aided us. He will still dominate Cameroun like Chukwueze and he will not have been caged against Algeria in the semi finals. Our wingers neee to create, take initiative or lay good cross but yet they offer this abilities in glimpses |

Okay, so then what stopped Simon from talking nau? Why didn't he speak?? You keep pushing the "Simon must talk" angle but fact is he said nothing. What would he say to a lad who is directly responsible for 7 of Nigeria's 12 goals in the qualifiers before this window? Please what? Simon himself that came in and also missed a sitter in Abuja?? Not knocking Simon but honestly, you bringing him up is funny. Osimhen came into this window on fire for Napoli. Scored in his last Napoli game even. The last time Osimhen played for Nigeria before this window, he scored a super hattrick and assisted 2 more. 6 G+A in one game the last time before this window. So now, because he didn't score in 2 games, he is showing poor form? Really?? In Abuja, he literally didn't have enough chances. The midfield created only once. Osimhen only had 2 shots. One on target. Today, he had more shots on goal but he was unlucky. He even struck the post. Poor form?? because of one really bad game. A game he would still had recorded a goal had his best NT friend, Chukwueze not played selfish in that 2 on 1 situation? And please like I already established. It is very very okay for Osimhen, who has literally been our best player in several games for the Super Eagles, when he plays, to demand more of his teammates. The guy is obviously built different and little wonder he stands apart from every Nigerian player in world football today. He has every right to demand more of his teammates in the heat of the action. They also know he gives his best ALWAYS. Strikers score and miss but you cannot fault his desire and work to keep pushing for the team. And please... Osimhen's passion and vocal nature is nothing new. That you are doing your best now to overemphasize and blow it up might suggest that you are still getting used to it. Well, Good morning and wake up to the fact that it has always been there even from the U17s..... and my point still stands that he doesn't "shout" in every damn game. And when he does, he does it for the team and because he wants his mates to keep their heads in the game. Chikena!!! Osimhen is the biggest gun of this team and he doesn't even let that get to his head in the ways he plays. He still fights and works like a guy who is trying to make it to the top of the game even when he is literally rubbing shoulders currently with the best in the world. So seeing such a guy still show passion and desire for perfection as if he is back in a secondary inter-school game reveals a young man who hasn't lost the fire that has propelled him to the top so far. He is a leader of the new generation of Naija footballers and this is his leadership style. Get used to it. COOL10: 3 Likes 2 Shares |

JohnBullMySon: When a player is free, unmarked in space inside the box and the left forward is in a tough position to score, he has to lay it to the free player. There is no excuse for that. He might score from the shot, but that does not make it right. 5 Likes 3 Shares |
