With effect from Saturday, Ist April, bus fare on all regulated buses BRT, Standard and FLM - shall revert to 100 per cent rate.

Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, had on Wednesday, 8th February 2023 approved a 50% slash in bus fares following the cash crunch brought about by the recent currency swap.

Following the Supreme Court and Federal Government's pronouncements on the use of old notes alongside the new notes and return of stability to the system, the 50% rebate is hereby discontinued.

Consequently, bus fares return to pre-50% slash rate effective Saturday, Ist April 2023.

Thank you for your understanding.

Naso lol. What will it cost him to make the 50% the new 100%. Afterall cowry card has nothing so much to do with cash crunch if I'm correct.

These rogues won't even promote every policy they make; cashless.

In the end, you'll see that there are just 2 tribes: the political elites and the poor masses. Every other categorization is false

How do these politicians takes us for a ride and yet we still applaud them all because of ethnicity sentiments and bigotry.
Let's call a spade a spade.
So what should now happen to us that actually voted for him due to the 50% slash, hoping it'll remain that way for a long time.
Is it now safe to call this a deceits?

I told one APC supporter here that nothing changed in Lagos after the attacks on Igbos, that those who supported the attacks have been deceived, Tinubu just retained his cash cow through Sanwo Olu using hate and bigotry...

After election Nigerian politicians will show you their true colours, most especially when it gets to their last tenure. Just imagine this apostle Paul Sanwo-olu that was writing letters to communities few weeks ago.
