Back home in the south east, they do mot have the type of mega properties like they do in Lagos , Abuja and other places.
The Abuja you see today was built within 40 years. The Dubai you see today was built within 50 years.
The Igbos can build a Mega city in the east within or in less than 40 years. And it will be as easy as ABC for them.
We already have cities like Abakiliki, Enugu, Owerri, Awka which already have developmental plans. So a new Mega city should be fashioned like Dubai, Abuja, Jburg etc .
The Igbos are the investors themselve. No need for foreign investors though they are welcomed. The Ohaneze Ndi Igbo and the five Igbo States and other Igbo speaking States like delta and Rivers state should partner together to achieve this.
An Igbo Mega city is possible .

There are about 7 million igbo in lag alone, do you think they all can leave the SW.

Owerri is a glorified rural area. Stop putting it on the same sentence with those cities. The only major cities in the old Eastern Nigeria are PH, Onitsha and Enugu

The problem with this plan is that Igbo people are self centered. Check areas in Lagos where they reside, they invest a huge some of money on personal property and abandon collective amenities like road, power e.t.c
