Good afternoon.
My boyfriend got admitted to do his masters at the university of Hull. I want to join him as a dependant, but we are having issues getting a marriage certificate, have gone to ministry of interior here in Port Harcourt they told me he has to be around so a marriage can officially be conducted, I tried explaining to them that he already traveled but they insist on him begin around. I would like to know of there is a way I can go about it.

Another thing is that he applied as single when he was applying to the school. Will this affect him in anyway?
justwise:
9. ATAS certificate, if your course requires it.

10. Consent letter: Under 18s will also need a consent letter from both parents and/or their guardian consenting to their visa application, their living arrangements in the UK and their travel to the UK. See example here (edit as required): http://documents.manchester.ac.uk/display.aspx?DocID=29499
https://www.sheffield.ac.uk/ssid/immigration/tier-4-application/supporting-documents#consent

Graduate visa (after successfully completing your studies) https://www.gov.uk/graduate-visa
Cost: Visa - £715 + IHS (£624 per year * 2 for Masters programmes and £624 per year * 3 for PhDs) = £1,963 (Masters) and £2,587 (PhDs). This visa can’t be extended, you’ll need to migrate to another visa that allows you to work and live in the UK eg. Skilled worker visa, Innovator visa, Global Talent visa, any family route visa etc.

FOR DEPENDANTS: Your family should ideally be in the UK as your dependant under the Student visa for them to qualify as your dependants under the Graduate visa route. This means that they must apply to join you more than 6 months to the end of your course since IHS isn’t charged and BRPs are not issued for any visa below 6 months. If your dependants apply when you have less than 6 months to the end of your course, it means that they won’t be charged IHS and if they need medical attention, they might need to pay out of pocket. Also, proving their right to work might be difficult with this – anyone who has applied less than 6 months to the end of the main applicant’s visa should please state their experience for others to gain from.
a. Spouses only: Marriage certificate.
b. Spouses and Children: Maintenance evidence: Bank statement showing £845 monthly * 9 months (£7,605) for within London or £680 monthly * 9 months (£6,120) for outside London. This must be in the account for at least 28 days; the end of the 28 days must not be older than 31 days before your application.

For dependant spouses, the money can be in your account or your partner's account.
For dependant children, the money can be in either parent's account.
Note: If applying shortly after the main applicant, be ready to show evidence of the main applicant’s funds (ie. Bank statements showing that he/she still has part of the money that hasn’t been spent on tuition or living expenses, rent/tuition receipts and any other document to prove that the money is not being recycled).

c. Spouses and children: TB test certificate (From IOM only)

d. Your child(ren) only: Child(ren)'s birth certificate showing you as their parent.
Note: If you’re taking care of a family member who’s now like a child to you and you’d like to take this child with you to the UK, you must provide an adoption certificate, court document showing that you have been appointed as the child’s legal guardian or granting you parental responsibility over the child.
These documents must be dated before the child turns 18 (ideally while the child is under age 16).

e. Spouse or parent's Biometric Residence Permit if they are already in the UK. Their vignette /GWF number if they have gotten their vignette but are still in Nigeria or if they are awaiting their application decision.

f. For spouses, you can include pictures of you and your spouse to prove that your marriage is genuine and subsisting or communication evidence (if you have lived apart prior to your application especially in cases where the spouse has travelled to the UK already). You can also use joint accounts, letters from your doctor, joint properties amongst many others to show that your marriage is real.

g. For children only: consent letter signed by both parents or legal guardian. See sample here (edit as required): http://documents.manchester.ac.uk/display.aspx?DocID=29499

https://www.sheffield.ac.uk/ssid/immigration/tier-4-application/supporting-documents#consent

If they insist he must be around, then he must be around. Court marriages in my opinion are not done in absentia. You might consider doing a traditional marriage.

And no, him indicating he was single at the time of application would not affect.

Ciao!

If you read through the lines you will see where I stated that I know for sure two people that used a different reference letter from the one they have on their CV.

Anthonyant30:

Thank you so much! I won't bother adding a CV to my VISA application. But hope CV ain't shared between the school and UKVI to avoid disparity of work(company on CV submitted to school) and the reference letter I will be submitting for VISA because I only work in one company throughout. Once again thank you

Hello everyone,

Please is there anyone studying or have recently studied at Ulster university.

The course is health promotion and public health, the campus is at Belfast.

I'm curious about the way of life there, job availability and accomodation ratings.

Should I go ahead to accept their unconditional offer?

Thank you

Wow congrats on ur offer. Belfast is a small artistic environment with lots of attraction for oversea students. I.e you will not only get affordable homes also low budget to compare with other UK cities. You will feel at home and you will find a work place.

Sorry for responding late, the answer to your question is NO. IHS and VISA are paid on black market basis

Sir, I have a question.
Can Form A be used to process IHS, flight ticket and hostel accommodation fees?

Hello house, please I will like to know what's the next line of action after paying tuition deposit and qualification check for Teesside university. I was given April 6th deadline and I made my payment today. Anybody with valuable information about CAS processing and what I need to prepare for next should please share with me.
I am going with a dependent.
Thanks in advance

You obviously know the rationale behind my post. This is not the first time you're been called out for making silly remarks to people's enquiries. We are all here to help each other fulfil our relocation plans. If you have nothing valuable to contribute to someone else's enquiries, it's ideal you ignore and move to the next.

Enough said.

Thank you for this boss. I sent them a mail and the decision is being reviewed for re-consideration.
PaBLoA2:

Hello there,

I'm sorry to hear that your application was refused.

One option would be to reach out to the university; they may be willing to reconsider your application if you can provide additional information or documentation that demonstrates the equivalency of your degree.

A better option is that it may be worth focusing your efforts on those universities that have given you admission instead.

I hope this helps, and best of luck with your application!

Keep on checking your email and your portal. They would give you unconditional offer and ask you to submit POF after confirming your POF comes your CAS
