Honestly, limiting what our team can do or produce with the pool of players at our disposal is not helping your view. Analytically, we have every business doing some of what City did today. E no hard with the right personnel, which we have, but only need to be picked or deployed right. typicalgamer: 1 Like |

And with all its Victors, some War Victors are more talked about than others. Why is the Brazillian team of 1970 WC more acknowledged and reverred than the English side of 66 WC? Why is even the Dutch side of the 70s more reverred than the Germans who won the WC in same period? typicalgamer: 2 Likes 2 Shares |

Relax. I didn't see it as an insult. I was only indicating that me not playing now as a pro shouldn't deflect from the central point. And on mediocrity, we can change things. We can take this pool of players, analyse them deeply, deploy them right based on those analyses and see how much better we become. Note: I get the corruption angle but I just wanna stay positive and focus on the football. And hopefully we won't have this pessimistic outlook for the next decade. typicalgamer: 1 Like |

TheSuperNerd:there’s a reason the Spartans are renowned all over Europe. Even losing the only war they participated in. But fact remains, people will indeed remember the glitz and glamor but I’d rather have the victory and see my name up in lights even though I’m not the better sides. |

TheSuperNerd: The fact that we don’t have a hotline to analysis board or someone who’s capable of change says a lot Even with all our analytical strengths combined out please will indeed fall on deaf ears Because it’s only us the fans that runs things here. So as to say we’re running a high standard beerpalour analysis. Because folks here including yourself have listed interesting over the years and surely we haven’t seen half of those names make an appearance |

Only war they participated in? Nope. They have won before. But the point is this. Are we just looking at winning and then fading out almost immediately or as fast as we rose to the top? Like Greece of 2004 or like Nigeria of 2013? OR are we looking at establishing a winning system that will win beyond just one tournament? The Nigerian side of 1994 lasted long enough to produce the core that still conquered in Atlanta 1996 2 years later and reached the Afcon final 6 yrs later despite missing two afcon tournaments in 96 and 98 due to a boycott and a suspension. Tournaments we would surely have won. This is why the 94 team is still reverred till this day. We are looking at Long term success not scatter gun approach that will get you a medal and then see you fade away almost a year after. typicalgamer: 3 Likes 2 Shares |

TheSuperNerd: We do not have the facilities nor equipment to drill our boys in the pattern a coach needs to get our maximum output Imagine we still train in the same pitch we were meant to play matches in ?? We do Cardio outside is that even cardio ? There’s no drill just 2 aside some short sprints and call it a day. Now i know why we’re still a 3rd world county Like bro all that you’ve mentioned are all piped dreams without the right fundamentals to kickstart it all. |

mostob: The one city played cost €1billion to get the personal And a further €1billion for the world class doctor’s and tech they use. It’s not about drilling players to get the perfect play and victory. Keeping your players in top shape is also necessary. And we can’t even pay our coaches how are we gonna run all these shit Like we use a private gym for exercise for goodness sake |

TheGoodJoe:Agreed!! And I think he should be given at least a two year contract. Now for me, I don't pray for the team to be unsuccessful. I wish the team and their current handlers all the best currently. After JPs contract expiration, we should definitely look inwards maybe at Amunike or any other Nigerian coach with a rising profile. My advise then to Emma is to find another African national gig that would give him more experience and make his case even stronger than it is currently. And I hope we get a better NFF admin. There's no way we continue with owing salaries, bonuses, using bad pitches and expect miracles to happen. And I can boldly say that the NFF even treats their fellow Nigerians worse than the foreigners they now owe salaries. We can ask Oliseh, Siasia and even Amunike himself about terrible, sabotaging and antagonististic behaviors by the NFF in the past. |
