Hello everyone, kindly advice if you can. My daughter has a third name, outside her surname, included in her birth certificate by her mother. Now same third name is not in her newly acquired international passport. In her visa application we have included that same third name where they asked for other names. So would that turn out to be an issue pls, considering the fact that the birth certificate will be submitted and that name is not on the passport. Thanks. |

Ibaku: I don't think that will be an issue though. My 3rd name isn't on my birth cert ,only 2 names and I got it. |

There're couple of options if proof of English is required. See the YouKay gov site. For HCA - https://www.gov.uk/health-care-worker-visa/knowledge-of-english - You’ll usually need to prove your knowledge of the English language when you apply, unless you did this in a previous successful visa application The keyword is previous. The key phrase is previous successful visa application. There's no qualifying of visa type. abuhusna1: BuildingProject: Yemite14557: 1 Like

semmyk: He applied for a student visa application which was successful. He got a BRP. He is even in school which we all know, they don't issue certificate for degree immediately you finish your course. Reason why that clause is their. Any previous application that was successful. But wetin I know. Thanks for the clarification again. |

Please house, I need some clarifications on these 1. What are the documents required at the airport (Nigeria) before travelling? 2. Do they ask any questions in Nigerian airport while checking in? 3. What do they request at the POE? 4. What are the likely questions asked at the POE? 5. Someone traveling by Rwandair, is their anything that will be required at the airport in Rwanda. 1 Like 2 Shares |

advanceDNA: Even if he/she has not graduated, NARIC or IELTS is not needed as I switched from my student visa to skilled worker visa before graduation and provided none of the two as my doing a Msc was a proof enough. Nothing academic was requested from me, just my data page, BRP details, National Insurance, personal email and home address , alongside job role provided by the company was used for the CoS application. When it came out, I applied and opted for priority, then went to Birmingham to do my biometric at 8a.m on a Thursday and was told that decision would be out within the next 5 working days. Woke up Friday morning, saw a mail from Home office which was sent 5.46a.m that morning informing me, application successful and I should be expecting my BRP within the next 7 working days but arrived the next Tuesday. So if already studying in the UK, proof of English is not needed. 2 Likes 2 Shares |

joe10: Yeah. Recruitment agent in UK have been suspended from recruiting people now. Nhs and care homes are to directly employ people now. No more agency interference but it's a pity that what one would have paid egberun mokonla for before to get has now rising to egberun metalla from the info I got on ground. Infact. Slots are still been sold but it would now be fir selected few that can pay through. Its a pity though. Can we fight it?? No. 1 Like |

joe10:The agent that sent that to you doesn’t know what he or she is saying. Real ones work directly with cars homes and care homes provide the jobs and COS. Healthcare visa remains as it used to be , there’s no change on that. Those that are telling you nonsense don’t want to come to the UK. They’re creating panic to deceive many intending japarians. 1 Like |

Re: UK Skilled Worker Visa / Health And Care Worker Visa / Qualified Teacher Route by ogoloray(m): 10:42am On Apr 02, 2023 |
tiptoe1: Even if she doesn't post a link. The fact that she's getting the said response is enough proof that it has been suspended! Okay you that is looking for proof, what proof do you have that it hasn't been suspended? |
Re: UK Skilled Worker Visa / Health And Care Worker Visa / Qualified Teacher Route by slimanyd: 10:48am On Apr 02, 2023 |
ogoloray: I won't talk much. Next time. Don't generalise. Just say that ur own agent talk say no more cos. Simple. People wey get link pass ur own agent dey wey them still post NHS job yesterday sef. I already said it in one of my previous post. These uk thingy is now more stricter and costlier with the development that happened this week. People that are struggling and pricing it back won't have that room again. Am Talking in parables. Let the wise ones discern. If you own agent talk say no more cos , His only link was those uk agent that have been suspended from employing henceforth. |

ogoloray: If nigeria has been suspended, it will be written in the home office website. You probably heard to rumors flying around about Nigeria been on the red list country. It not a new thing, Nigeria has been on the list for over 3 years, the only new thing about that list is that 8 more countries were added. 1 Like |

ogoloray: I think only agents are not allowed to give COS you can get a job directly from a care home know loads of people still getting COS Let's be positive and keep faith alive... so many people sef are getting BRP Uk does not leave vague messages if Nigeria is suspended it will be stated clearly |
Re: UK Skilled Worker Visa / Health And Care Worker Visa / Qualified Teacher Route by slimanyd: 11:32am On Apr 02, 2023 |
Osa4: Bro. Some agents that do not want to return back people's deposit are those behind those negative news to discourage there clients or even pay lesser than the deposit they received from people. Am happy u said it that cos are still been issuesdand visa are also been issued. I hope this will rest all this back and front. P.S. If your agent talk say uk has banned Nigeria. Abeg, Kala collect ur whole money back o. 1 Like |

tiptoe1:Don’t mind them . They come here to Post piffle and misinform other people . I blame justwise and other admins for not blocking these guys. The panic they’re creating is making this thread dull and uninteresting anymore. This is engineered by some of our brothers and sisters in the UK who don’t want to see their people come over there too like them. 2 Likes |
