Nigerian Int Passport And The Reality by wabbyland(m): 6:02am On Apr 01, 2023 |
In my eagerness to get my Int Passport, I asked my colleagues at work how they got theirs in a short time. Truth is, most immigration officers are just waiting to extort desperate Nigerians. I got one Lagos immigration officer's number and she told me to come. Long story short, paid N44k and submitted my birth certificate, NIN, filled the form and got January as the capturing date. |

Fast forward!!! I called the officer two days before the capturing date, she just said I should bring my NIN but I decided to go with my birth certificate. Got there before 7:30 and I met a very long queue. Called the officer that I was there, since I paid I'm not supposed to waste time and she should be able to fast track the process for me. lo and behold the woman said I have to stay on the queue until I get inside for the capturing. what's the money I paid for!!!!!!??! |

got inside the capturing room in the evening around 6 pm. captured, signed and got a printout for March 24 for collection date. got there last week and was told to come back next two weeks. it's shameful that immigration officers extort Nigerians knowing well that DIY is the same as paying N45k or more. |

Despite paying 45k, so you still have to wait from morning till evening before you get captured |

Re: Nigerian Int Passport And The Reality by dealhunter(m): 9:13am On Apr 01, 2023 |
She did a wonderful job bro, paying 44k does not mean she will allow you to jump queue....if you want it more faster, you will pay between 70k to 80k.....pls give me her phone number,I'm planning to do my as soon as possible.....Note: assuming you apply do it urself method, the process for frustrate you . ..it's better to do it through immigration officer, after all you go get person wey go dey update you... 1 Like 1 Share |

dealhunter, but some people on this platform said DIY is between 25-30k. Which one should we believe? |
Re: Nigerian Int Passport And The Reality by dealhunter(m): 1:52pm On Apr 01, 2023 |
iSense247:it's true,DIY is between 25k to 30k,and no guarantee on when d passport will be ready,no one to update you at passport office,no one to fast track d processing,I will rather go with d 44k own with an immigration officer in charge than 30k own with God mercy....the different is just 14 to 15k........I can even go with 75k own if I get sure travel link .. 1 Like |

nifemi25:yes, I had to wait for hours before capturing. it's not worth paying if I must say the truth. and it's equally worth paying if u have the money and can't wait forever |

dealhunter:I'm sorry I can't drop her number on a public forum. send a dm if u need her number. if it was DIY, I would be patient to do the necessary paperworks myself. I paid and I didn't get value for my money, based what I think 1 Like |

Re: Nigerian Int Passport And The Reality by Windblown2much: 10:02pm On Apr 01, 2023 |
dealhunter:Whine u ke! I'm also in the process as we speak.. Islamic country where u can get a job that pays $500 monthly and also open strand of opportunities to enter other developed neighbouring countries is better than Nigeria in my own opinion. |

Re: Nigerian Int Passport And The Reality by dealhunter(m): 4:34pm On Apr 02, 2023 |
Windblown2much:there is Syria Embassy in Abuja, and there tourist visa is very easy to collect, crossing frm Syria to Turkey is just 200 Euro, highest 300,and crossing to Greece,,you will still spend like 200 or 300 Euro,Note:you can stay in Turkey and seek asylum if you don't want to go to Greece.. Ask ur contact in Turkey about this link and get back to me here,we go make d whole info open, maybe other people can benefit from it....you don't need to spend 2m because you want to enter Europe.....I wanted to follow this route before but naa USA or Canada dey my mind..thousand of people have follow this route.. |

Re: Nigerian Int Passport And The Reality by Windblown2much: 6:11pm On Apr 02, 2023 |
dealhunter:Let's just round it up to a million naira(almost) on transport fair and some other minor spending from Nigeria down to Greece. Need I remind U didn't include the expected flight fare from (Nigeria-Syria) from ur analysis. Other spending like feeding and housing never dey o and u expect me to see this plan as cheap and easy like u made it seem? Anyways I'll look for a time and ask my friend as u've instructed and come here to share our discussed points here for all to access. However, from our discussion thus far, I still feel going to turkey will be the ideal for me judging from the fact that I'll have someone to welcome and accommodate me for sometime before gaining my groud, putting me through on how to get a job just few weeks of arrival, and some other assistance, benefits would atleast make it easier and less stressful for me unlike the Greece asylum seeking that would put me in undue worries and uncertainties! |
