1) Cheap tuition are often found in provinces where part time jobs might be very limited. As of today some students in Nova Scotia are having a really tough time financially. So please do your research.
2) Canadian schools are doing their best to cash out from international students which results in high number of admissions but please research about courses, do not pick course out of sentiments because coursework can be demanding. Imagine someone coming here with a kid and doing an M.eng course.
3) money is very important, student life limits your ability to hustle, yes people survive but not everyone has high threshold of handling pressure/stress.
Finally let’s populate Canada 🇨🇦 good luck and it shall rain PPR this month.

No I didn’t see where you referred me. Please we are not fighting. No vex and thank you.

No worries.

Sometimes the general advise is that do not volunteer any information not requested from you by IRCC. Since your medicals have been requested, your application is almost completed. How long is the new start date from the old start date?

IRCC requires a minimum of 4 months' bank statements.
5m is a reasonable amount to show on your part.

Thank you

Hello, my People,

I got an offer of admission to study in Fanshawe and I am expected to pay a tuition deposit of 9718 CAd before the 21st of April. I have initiated the form A process and am optimistic the money will hit their account but not before the deadline.

I have equally reached out to the school explaining the delay with my form A documents attached.

I would like to if anyone has gotten similar issue and if money is disbursed to them after the deadline expires, can the admission be reinstated

Hi guys,

Please how do I go about biometric request
I applied together with my spouse and only the primary applicant was sent a biometric request

We paid for family biometric at the time of submission.
Please does the primary applicant biometric letter cover for the spouse too or I have to wait to get the request for my spouse too?

Please I need your responses. Thanks

Tbh, it depends on the "job" (or at least your definition of a "good" job). For example, getting warehouse jobs or other quick ones would be easy (anywhere- Canada or UK). But it's not impossible getting good jobs in Canada too- target major cities (like GTA, Montreal, Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, etc), not rural areas. Although those major cities may be (relatively) expensive, there's a tradeoff. (and I think that's the point of the OP).

guys abeg help a friend, she wants to apply to Canada colleges.
1. for the NSE stream, if I am correct she needs to have CAD$30,000 for 12months bank statement, plus living expenses $10,000 and tuition fees in one account and she needs to do IETLS and score minimum of 6.0
2. the school requested she pays 1st semester only to receive letter of acceptance, and after she receives the LOA she can apply for her visa with the documents listed in page 1

seniors please correct my blunders before I give her to digest
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by drhammed: 5:54pm On Apr 02, 2023
Yes to 1 & 3. For number 2, I think it should be enough (your tuition and 1yr living expenses), but I can't claim full YES for that- hopefully someone will answer that.
Arctope:
Hello guys, please I have a question.... I applied for a 1 year .. college certificate course in the Centennial and conestoga college. I intend to take another 1 year course or maybe another 2 year masters course after completing my first college course.
The reason why I'm going for college is because I am self sponsored and my savings is 40,000 CAD. Tuition fee is around 13 - 18k cad. So I have 20k for living expenses.

Course Studied : Architecture
CGPA : 3.90

My question is this

1. if I take another 1 year course after completing the first one... will I be eligible for 3 year pgwp?
2. Is the 40k cad be enough fund to convince the VO As a self sponsored for a 1 year course of 17k tuition.?
3. if I decide to go for 2 years masters after completing the first one. Will it be easy to extend my study permit while in Canada after completing my first course.

Pls I need help from gurus thank you!

Hi,

When did you apply? Biometric letter drops within 24 to 48 hrs after application. You can't use your letter for your spouse, be patient I'm sure your spouses' letter will drop soon.

The NSE strem is not operational presently. So, the applicant does not need to restrict themselves to the conditions of NSE.
Most schools request for tuition deposit to issue the student LOA or POA, which is what the student will use to apply.

Using FORM A is not compulsory, it just allows you to get FX at official CBN rates. Other alternative is sourcing for FX at the parallel market (BDC, ABoki, Friends) and sending the funds directly to the school via swift transfer.

As for the timeline for admission for Niagara and SFU, I do not have the information, but I think you should contact their international offices if you have applied to the schools.

Hi everyone

Good work you guys are doing here 😊

My cousin got his visa to Canada few weeks back and we are on the process of getting him a flight ticket.

How do we make online payment for flight ticket with naira ?

We tried using his naira Visa card but it didn’t go through.

Any help will be appreciated
most of the airlines show prices in naira and could be paid with transfer. Which airline is giving you headache?
