I currently use a Camry 08 which runs very fine, I got an offer for an accord 13 which I like, problem now is the accord have some electrical problems it doesn’t move fast when on drive, was told some sensors need changing…

My fear is: is an accord 13 a good car to use? Does it break down regularly, does the sensor problem occurs frequently.. many thanks as I await ur input

Avoid wahala. That sluggish movement is most likely transmission issue.

Check your Throttle body. If your IACV is blocked or has carbon build up it can exhibit similar symptoms.

To confirm if you're having idling issues as suggested by OP, sightly turn the power steering to the left and right; if the idle moves up a bit then your idling system is good (provided your power steering pressure switch is still intact and pump working well) and fault located within the AC system (usually a faulty AC compressor clutch or compressor going bad).

I had this same issue. I cleaned the throttle body and even changed plugs but that didn't fix it.

I finally fixed it in Port Harcourt. It was the cold start abi engine temperature wire that cut. Check yours and replaced if it is not cut. It's green in color and at the upper end of the radiator host

The loss power, noticeable increase in fuel consumption and it misfires.
Repair history: About two months ago my mechanic corrected the timing issue the car came with (P0016) by adjusting the timing and the car came back to life (no more sluggish during climbing, very fast pick up, with no check engine light). He also changed the serpentine belt adjuster.
Around first week of this month, check engine light came up, I scanned it and it shows P0171 (system too lean). After checking the code on YouTube, I re-tightened some loosed vacuum hoses and cleaned up the MAF sensor but the code refused to go. Then after some few days car started loosing power, I scanned it and error codes P0300 and P0302 showed. I swapped the coil of 1 and 2 and drove it for a whole day but the code remain the same, which I suspected the Spark plug in cylinder 2. I drove it two for days like that scanned it and now has P0171, P0300, P0302 and P0304. Just last week, after a night rainfall, I started my car and ABS light came up, I drove it like that to office, and after closing for work, i started the car the ABS light has gone. After reaching home, I scanned it and P0500 has been added to the list.
I checked YouTube for the P0500 (vehicle speed sensor), I cleaned my front wheel speed sensors but the code refused to go too.
Now my car misfires, slow in picking up and it consumes.

Catalytic converter is on its way out. To be sure, scan it.

I notice that my car is experiencing long cranking whenever I want to start the car to repark in my compound.
It doesn't happen in the morning or even when I close from work. I usually park outside before reparking in my compound. I park outside around 6pm and repark inside my compound around 8pm, In-between these 2 hours I always notice this problem.
My car model is Toyota avensis 2011.
Note: The car doesn't jerk or stall while driving.
What are the possible causes pls?
