It should be another way around,

Rogers was biased toward the 2 of them, and more than once had caused the team games,

So he getting sack is for the good of the duo and Club,

Much Ado to a genius indeed
Biased toward Ndidi? I think it's Iheanacho.

They were sitting 19th coming into the game. Their win now takes them up to 14th. It's tight in the bottom half.

Haha at the description of residents. Southampton is definitely going south of the EPL. I expect Westham to climb out though but we shall see.

Samuel Chukwueze starts for Villarreal CF vs Real Sociedad. Umar Sadiq still out due to a cruciate ligament injury.

Raphael Onyedika starts for Club Brugge away at KV Mechelen in the Jupiler Pro.

I can't wait for Nwakali's triumphant return to the Super eagles 1, to take his rightful position as the original midfielder playmaker 2, to teach his boys (Chukwueze and Osimhen) how its done

Presently! And what has Brazil won in the last decade? Only Spain played that way in the last decade. Why? cos they had Iniesta, Fabregas and Xavi who play in the same team. Any team with those players or City type of players will definitely play that way! So rest all this impossible philosophy!

Morocco was simply lucky against Spain and Portugal. They have their goalkeeper to thank for those two games.
Even Ghana played better against Portugal. It was against France they played really well but still lost.
However, Nigeria's 2014 team played better against the French team. They played AFCON a year earlier but were knocked out but one of the worst Egyptian team ever. So?
TheSuperNerd:
The excuse of time is not cogent. I know you talk down on Morocco but Morocco's Walid had 2 months to prep up the Atlas Lions for the WC and look at what he accomplished. He prioritised the best approaches that suited the talents pool they had.
3-5 training sessions of intense focus on transition automations alongside working on these strategies with the right personnel will see changes. These players are not dumb. They are professionals. Talented professionals.

And the bolded is certainly not true at all.

You are not being entirely honest if you reduce Morocco's run to the WC Semis down to ONLY LUCK. Bounou wasn't even their best player at the WC.

The point is simple. You speak of time restraints but Morocco's Walid literally used 2 months to drill that side into a force that shook the World Cup.

And the Nigerian Team of 2013 didn't last. 2013 to 2014 shows "longevity"? Nothing like the Nigerian 1994 side at all. We had success in 2013 but it was shortlived.

They did not shake any thing! Only their goalkeeper shook the world! They had to defend for their lives against one of the worst Spanish team ever with their goalkeeper making incredible safe after safe! They got a lucky header against Portugal and defended with their lives. They were grilled to defend and counter, which can be done by any team with a good goal keeper as theirs.
They became vulnerable against teams like Egypt, South Africa and Peru who defended and counter against them.
With a goalkeeper like theirs we would have won the AFCON and qualified for the world cup.
Equaveon also had 2weeks and gave us the best group stage AFCON performance in decades. So?

We have a World Class Striker in Osimhen and Bad-ass Options who can step in whenever he is unavailable in Moffi, Orban, etc.

We have good enough Attacking Wingers. Inverted Wingers who can play on the inside or on the outside in Chukwueze, Lookman, Tella (potentially) etc.

We have a ball carrier and creative outlet who can get forward in Iwobi.

We have ball winning midfielders, few of whom can ball play and really help keep our transition from the first phase to the 2nd phase of build ups smooth.

What we lack is a midfield metronome. A tempo setter and controller. This is where I see Kelechi Nwakali doing the job for us.

He is the guy who when paired with the right personnels in their role in a 433 or 4231... Will connect them all and we would see Chukwueze and his corresponding Winger on the left side receive the ball in a much different transition scenario than how they receive it now and will thus enable them be utilised to the best of their inverted abilities.

We need a tempo controller. And he alone doesn't work except with a ball playing ball winner/holding midfielder.

I agree. A sound coach. A really serious tactical coach will repeatedly tell these lads to understand that after soaking in all the drills, that it is their seriousness in-game that will ensure they actually apply what has been learnt or picked up in training. Key word is repeatedly.
