Yes, at that time, he already had four European titles, two of which were UCL, and he had won a handful of other local titles as well.

Ancelotti did not coach Azpi in Chelsea

Ancelotti was sacked 2011, Azpi joined 2012

On the club's website: "Along with our incredible fans, we will all be getting behind Bruno and the team as we focus on the rest of the season. We have 10 Premier League games remaining and a Champions League quarter final ahead. We will put every effort and commitment into every one of those games so that we can end the season on a high."

I hope this clueless Boli isn't planning to appoint Bruno, Potter's younger brother from Brighton, as the interim manager till the end of the season.

Boli don totally spoil this season for us with his cluelessness and rash decisions. A more experienced club owner would have simply left Tuchel in charge and supported him in the trying times.

But Boli na maga

Not the type to be happy when someone gets the sack but man, that was a horrible experience.

Lampard must be relieved now, the title of Chelsea's worst manage in history has just been passed on.

So, who is in-coming?

Potter was a rabbit in headlights. The houseboy left in charge of the shop that will tell you "wait make my oga come back" just to give you price for an item. He lacked testicular fortitude
Maybe that was why Boli hired him in the first place. A yes man?

I'm talking about how he deals with the media and the confidence he transmits, not his relationship with Boehly

Pep has always been a yes man to his directors, so has Klopp and Ancelotti, but you don't see them looking nervous, voice shaking in interviews or talking about their mental health challenges like Potter. Players will just see him and say he's a small boy

Lampard was never that. In modern time alone, AVB and Scolari were worse

hmmm..I beg to differ. Lampard did OK during the transfer embargo but became arrogant and wasn't just good enough with his cross and nod nonsense.

Any which way, the baton has been passed on. Potter alone reigns supreme in that category now.

Thankfully I don't think I ever watched any of his interviews. It was more than enough seeing him clapping on match days. pffffuffff

You can downplay Zidane's achievements as Madrid manager all you want. But know that only very few coaches at that young age could successfully manage players with a big ego such as Ronaldo, Marcelo, Ramos, Curtois in the biggest club in the world and develop sound tactics to get the best out of the team.

We saw how Lampard and recently Potter failed to cope in big teams, something a young Zidane did naturally at Madrid.

That's not an easy feat.
- He is a respected legend in the club and football world.

Is Zidane the only manager with a team of stars?

Why has any other manager accomplished what he did? No dey devalue his work. Yes, he had a good squad and he knew how to used them.
Those great stars had maximum respect for him as a football legend so it was easier for him in the dressing room.

Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Champions Of Europe 2021 by FBS: 2:10am On Apr 03, 2023
So Napoli chop 4 without Osimhen?

Anyways, I no watch the match so can't really comment on their performance without him but interesting nonetheless.

Called it, Boli and Eghbali.

Speaking at a conference last October, Eghbali made it clear he felt that Chelsea was a 'badly run' club and that he saw it as an asset that could be improved.

He said: "We thought Chelsea [was] frankly an asset, a business that was not terribly well managed on the football side, sporting side or promotional side, so meaningful opportunity at the club and we’ll get to it for us, who needed the beachhead to then look at multi-clubs.

"[We] looked at it and we think European sports is probably 20 years behind US sports in terms of sophistication on the commercial side, and sophistication on the data side. These are global assets, global audiences which we think we can certainly help grow.

How's the sophisticated data going now on bro Boli and Eghbali? undecided

This ain't American sport. Football is different.

AVB and Scolari did not make it past their first season with Chelsea greatest players of all time

Lampard qualified for UCL in first season with academy boys and made FA Cup final

The difference is clear

What messed Lampard up was trying to fit in many expensive players with low talent that unbalanced the team, such as Havertz, Ziyech and Werner. Mostly players the club signed for him that weren't up to par

AVB was supposed to be JM junior but that never happened, Scolari cried cos they didn't allow him to sign Robinho.

What messed him (Lampard) up was becoming a cross and nod merchants and arrogance. It's that simple.

Looking forward to the future now.
