I just read on YouTube from a user with this same 100A variant.

These were his comments about a year ago "The most you can connect is 3 series. I tried 4, it brought the fault code 21 . When open current got to 171 volt. I use 100amps", although he didn't state his VOC.

My question is will this calculated 4s 165.2v increase on any condition (hold/hot weather) or will it only decrease?

Secondly is there a way to know/get the maximum daily yield from these Felicity CC?

If you can, add additional panel and connect 3s3p.
My setup was 8 270w initially and I rarely get above 1000w solar generation. I added a panel recently and change it from 2s4p to 3s3p. The peak instant generation has jumped up to around 1.8kw. That's more than 50% increase

8 is Good starting point if Grid is mostly available and if you don't deep discharge your batteries, I would recommend 12 as minimum.

Well, nothing beats hard evidence from field most times. Find out what the error code means and be sure it's not maybe a bug or firmware issue correctable with a firmware upgrade...@bolded: Ideally that doesn't increase.

it doesnt show it, thats why i dont like the felicity CC. someone has described an alternate cumbersome method to install a 3rd party device for the data logging. felicity no try, for a 100k device...e supz get. data logging, if na 60k powmr wey no get am, its a bit understandable

On the other hand there's a 100A Felicity CC with below details,
Max Pv Input Voltage = 195V

My question now is, can Felicity 100A with above spec take the 8 panels using 4s2p config?

Or should I use Techfine 60A/80A with (Max PV Voltage: 150V) and go for 9 panels using 3s3p config?

Please I need the one that will produce optimally so I know the total number of panels to purchase and the exact CC to go for.

At 12v the maximum solar panels used should not be more than 1200watts.
So if your battery system 48v I will advice you buy one more panel to make it 3s3p, if the system is 24v or12v your panel is more than the capacity of your charge controller if properly installed.

Please, does this means that a panel array in 48v connection CANNOT BE USE TO CHARGE A 12V system with a POWMR 60A for instance

If the system was for 48v and the panels total watts is more than 750watts at good installation and optimal generation it will affect your charge controller

So, a mppt charge controller cannot convert the 48v to 12v for better charge and carry more load without depleting the battery percentage.

Forget about the 195v written on the Felicity charge controller. Don't give it input voltage more than 125v or else it will bring out fault light at every peak generation.
Since your VOC is 41.30v so I recommend 3s i.e 3x41.3= 123.9v.
Also since your charge controller is 100A,
At 48v the maximum solar panels used should not be more than 4800watts,
At 24v the maximum solar panels used should not be more than 2400watts.
At 12v the maximum solar panels used should not be more than 1200watts.
