This is my business account which clearly states my business name on it( I provided GTB business account and micro finance business account). Pls note, I didn't provide a savings account. 1, How else can I convince them? 2, Case worker, said an open source search was carried out on the CAC website and shown to be inactive, what does that mean and how can it be corrected? 3, My statement of account does not demonstrate that I am in receipt of the stated income in my application and does not demonstrate how I fund my daily expenses In my country. What step should be taken to demonstrate that? Thank you so much for response as I await your reply to my questions above. sherylbaky: |

Davinton: Your business or company name is not active on the CAC portal. This normally occurs when you don’t file your company’s annual return. You can get the service of a CAC accredited agent to help you with this. Before you reapply, make sure your company or business name is active on the CAC portal, because they occasionally check to see if it is active or not. |

Davinton:Right brother ild advise; Step one :Give it a few months and try again this time go to the bank and let them do a letter called a signature confirmation on your company account (It is stamped by the bank and shows your full name, states when you commenced banks relationship ,says you are the sole signatory and shows your signature and a photograph of you). Step two:Start paying yourself a certain amount every month as salary into your savings account so there is a paper trail and be realistic about it.Money in a business account is for business not personal use except you going for a training related to your field or something. Step three:Go to Cac and update your details plus pay your annual returns and attach receipt with your application. Step four:What visa type do your wife and daughter hold in the Uk?.If they can provide letter of invitation and statement of account that leaves you will less to worry about. Step five:Explain in your additional information exactly what you do for a living ,for how long and give examples of incoming and outgoing funds so the case officer better understands how you arrived at your figure .Circle the amounts on the statement. 3 Likes |

geolan: Yes it happens once in a while like this, you can use the option of assisted service appointments by paying 13k instead of 40k for prime time appointments, but it is not a bad deal too as far as you got ur preferred date. 1 Like |

Please for your UK Visa application did you used "mybankstatement" or did you eventually attached an actual Bank statement to your application ? I want to confirm if UKVI accept mybankstatement instead of actual bank statement upload. MadeMan01: |

Davinton: FOR THE CAC ASPECT You have to file your annual returns with CAC. I am accredited to help with this if you are not afraid of agents. NOW, when your company on CAC CRP is showing inactive, it is interpreted as the company is not actively trading (has filed for bankruptcy/closed/not in existence). This is the same as not having a company. It worked against the PROPRIETOR/DIRECTOR. After some years of noncompliance (filing annual returns with CAC), the company/business will be removed from the CAC directory. If you were an employee, you would have been able to address this in your cover letter. You won't be able to carry certain registrations with govt. agencies as a result of this status, such as BPP. |

Good day gurus in the house, hope everyone is fine. For someone who has between 4.5 million to 5 million in his account can I apply for visitors visa to the UK ? . I work and I earn up to 450k every month and I spend 200k . And between now and may am expecting about 2 million rent from my property which I rented out, so am adding the 2 million to my salary which will sum it up to 4.5 million or 5 million. decasey: In addy to the response from Giselle, you have a good tie to Nigeria. Ensure you add that to your application. Take advantage of this Easter season and take family pictures if you don't have such. |

I understand that mobile bank statement is accepted, I want to process the Visa application for my brother and his bank statement has over 100 pages, hence the reason why I am asking if anyone has used "mybankstatement" for UK visa application instead of an actual statement upload. giselle237: |

djbaju: I always prefer uploading my stuffs myself so I’m sure of what I’m uploading and I’m not in anyway pressured. You get!! And the prime time won’t be a bad idea if it actually works and I am attended to swiftly. Cos the queue and wait time is always crazy. |

Thanks a lot Tutu82, you are a life saver. Your professional advise is well taken and acting on them already. The inactive business is now being sorted out, as I need to pay some charges and submit a statement of affairs for those years I didn't submit my annual returns. Give it a few months, 2, 3 or 4 months? Please be precise as my legal adviser want us to reapply immediately. So I can tell him to hang on a little bit and also get these things corrected before I proceed with the application. My wife is presently on definite leave to remain ( family life), my daughter is on 5years indefinite leave to remain as she just joined her mother( my ex wife) last year. A letter of invitation, bank statement and pay slips from my wife was also provided. Income and my outgoing funds were clearly stated in my financial statement and management report. Everything was explained In details. I could send them to your email if that's fine by you. Maybe you could also tell me where we made mistake in the documents provided. Thank you once again for your time. Tutu82: |

Davinton:in my opinion the above may work against you… you’ll just keep trying and trying but refusals maybe the order of the day as these 2 individuals tie you more to the UK than Nigeria. Visit visa will easily be violated by you on the basis of the above individuals… You need to have a very solid application to grt a visit visa due to all I have stated. Of course lawyer will say anything to get funds from you but the above two and your immigration hx will be the bane of your visit visa applications. I am happy to be proved otherwise nonetheless so good luck. |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Davinton: 9:01am On Apr 05, 2023 |
I get your point. I provided my landed properties and all. In that case, the case worker would have mentioned it as a reason for refusal if that was an issue, right? In your opinion, what do you think I should do to have a solid application and how long do I need to wait to reapply? Or can I apply for another visa instead of visit visa? Thanks for your time. giselle237: |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by giselle237: 10:35am On Apr 05, 2023 |
Davinton:Sir, If you got my point you wont be talking about landed properties. On a balance of probabilities why will you come back to Nigeria sir? Your wife and your child are in the UK… with residential rights… abeg wetin go make u come back?? You didn’t convince this ECO and it is likely going to continue to be so. For ur ppl with LTR and ILR they will never tell u that’s the reason they see u wont come back. Another visa will be spouse visa but when your wife is eligible and that depends on timing… since she is on her last 2.5 yrs. if it’s ok and u really need to see each other maybe neighbouring countries will do… but I know the angle the ECOs will keep using and this is how it will continue for next VISITOR applications |

Remember,I have a job to come back to. I can't possibly leave all that behind and stay in UK illegally. From your submission, you think the chances of getting a visit visa is slim. In other words, I should wait till my wife gets her ILR then file for spousal visa or go to a neighbouring country to see each other.
