Even you shocked shocked
Mabilia Located in Kakara Village on the plateau, the company has Highland Tea Estate, about 615 hectares of tea plantation.

Kericho tea plantation alone cover more than 30,000 hectares! - that is like 600 times Mabila.

Small holder famers sorrounding it cover even bigger area.

You guys are basically sick and mad.

For large tea plantation in kericho alone - you drive for 60kms long - and 40ksm width. - that is just lust green breaktaking scene - 60km long - 40km wide - and apart from edges - Kericho & bomet county is covered by tea. The same for Nandi county, Kiambu - and 19 other counties in Kenya. Those are small scales and large scale.

Gov owned tea - along the major forest - Nyayo tea zones - running hundrends if not thousands of kilometres forming a ring aroud forest to stop encroachment

You want to compare dead Mambilia which last proccessed tea in 1970s - with world largest exporter of tea smiley smiley

Obaaderemi2:
You are a borderline lunatic. Kericho is smaller than Mambilla and less beautiful.

Limuru - just 30kms from Nairobi - would be 3rd or 4th - in size of tea plantations. Tigonis is definitely turning into prime real estate with properties now million dollars.

Tigoni - where tea plantation starts- definitely the place to buy prime real estate if you can still afford.

"In 2021, Knight Frank, a real estate firm, stated that Wealthy Kenyans were deserting Kileleshwa, Runda and Kitisuru in Nairobi for more privacy and outdoor space in Tigoni.

"Tigoni was highlighted for rapid growth as developers and house seekers flooded the region searching for land and homes. "

I predict Nigeria will file for bankruptcy this year. No way with revenues of 10B dollars they can fulfill debt obligation. They will join Ghana soon.

A report revealed that Nigeria’s inflation rate will average 20.5 per cent in 2023.
Data revealed that debtors who owe Nigeria’s government agencies refused to honour obligations but were still being paid.
Nigeria expected to spend 60 percent of its total revenue on debt servicing in 2023.

Nigeria’s economy is weakening as its total debt climbed to $103.11 billion with spiralling inflation and unemployment. The dire economic situation is what the country’s outgoing President Muhammadu Buhari would hand over to the incoming president on May 29, 2023.

According to Nigeria’s Debt Management Office (DMO), the total public debt stock of the country consisted of the domestic and external debts of the Federal Government of Nigeria (FGN) and its 36 state governments.

DMO in a statement on its website took a comparative debt stock and reported that Nigeria’s debt as of December 31, 2021 was $95.77 billion. In terms of composition, DMO said the country’s total domestic debt stock stood at $61.42 billion while total external debt stock was $41.69 billion.

“Among the reasons for the increase in total public debt stock were new borrowings by the Nigerian government and its state governments, primarily to finance budget deficits and execute projects. The issuance of promissory notes by the country’s regime to settle some liabilities also contributed to growth in the debt stock,’’ the office said in its latest release in Abuja

What in this report says Nigeria is going bankrupt? and how do you get this your 10 Billion dollars revenue? It is10 trillion naira which is 23 Billion dollars at federal level from taxes.

With Lagos and other states, the total revenue of Nigeria for 2022 should be above 30 Billion dollars from both FIRS and states.
There are other sources of revenue as well that are not in that.

I am glad nobody listened to him. He is one of reason Ghana is bankrupt. His revolutionary idea was to borrow ministry of education budget - for 5yrs - and use it to build model schools. That kind of over-leveraging or over-borrowing - end results - BANKRUPTCY.

We dont do such nonsense. We listened to them as we are open minded. But sorry we have some of Africa best policy makers.

We have achieved 100% transition since 2018 - without double track nonsense.

We have almost free education from primary to secondary to university.

Now we are adding school feeding programs for primary kids.

Ghana is scoring you 7 goals to nothing here . We have been doing this and better seven years back at full scale .even far wider and cover than yours . Basic, primary and secondary education is entirely free here.

Free education from basic to secondary level.
Free boarding from basic to secondary level .
Free feeding from basic to secondary level . Even our kids drink rich chocolate .

Absolutely free transport service as well.

You can now see why your govt will always write another letter for Ghana assistance again.

Your country is broke , she will not be able to pilot it at full. The little you try to implement , you run out of dollars.

Oh I didn’t follow the show past the second eeeks because I have been so busy, coupled with the general election that swayed the minds of Nigerians . But most people that watched it complained it wasn’t as interesting as BBNAIJA. Wait for that one on July periods,it’s usually very crazy with string personalities clashing here and there. Most times I get bothered that they could burn biggies house down with chaos, most especially the last set of bbnaija.

True. Most of the action was coming from the Nigerians. Don't think I'll be watching again. Needs too much time.

Same growth trajectory KCB - they've gone to DRC. Next market is Ethiopia. Once we get Ethiopia to be part of EAC - we are talking 500M market. That is huge.

We need to prioritize getting Ethiopia to join EAC and to open it's economy.

Interesting that both doubled their profits in 2020-2021.

Our only liability is our envious and lazy brother down South. They always seem to be suspicious of any Kenya enterprise. Won't be a problem though if we have these two new and bigger markets with lesser competition.

External debt...overvalued naira..will eventually devalue..doubling your External debt. With 10b dollars in revenue you already cant repay debt.States are also choking in their debt.I called out Ghana default years before due to their External debt.Nigeria is heading there

except Ghana hasn't defaulted on any of it external debt.

Meanwhile I called a default for Kenya, years ago and you've been defaulting for 3 years now and now your country is bankrupt with everything put on hold.

Okay wait until the devaluation happens. For now it's 30 Billion dollars revenue.
External debt is 40 Billion dollars. Not that much of a problem I believe.

Federal revenues is 10B
Federal external debt is approaching 50B - if Naira is devalued so you can have unified exchange rate - it will mean doubling of debt obligation.

Again states have their revenues and their debt

Ethiopia about to open up at least 30% of it's virgin banking sector. Kenya banks circling the 120M people country.

Ethiopia plans to allow overseas lenders to acquire up to 30% in its commercial banks.

Also:
—Foreigner individuals can buy 5% in domestic banks.
—Foreign banks can set up subsidiaries or open branches.

Once we get Ethiopia and DRC - we wont need AFCAT - west africa is a waste land mess - Nigeria is impossible to do business in. South Africa control the southern region and going to be hard for kenyan firms to compete against

This must be the worst and MOST dreaded road in West Africa, yet the only road - you must take it or ship out, literally.

In my next thread, I will share why this 60km road takes travellers 2 days to drive.

The 10 Billion you got from your ass without proof? If you can't give proof, then the argument becomes a waste of time.

You said if naira is devalued, but naira has not been devalued.
