I ask for a link. Not long stories of a mad man.
Just40:
Yes and ECG has managed to kul them down by going on debt collection. No dumsor will happen here untill 2024 when Ghana will have fully consumed all of it surplus electricity.

Ghana does not use diesel for electricity, learn sense. And they don't have to pay for gas, they just have to owe Ghana Gas and ECG and govt will sort it out.😂

You're so desperate such that you can't even type properly..

Half of Kenya is still in darkness in this day and age while Israeli companies rip you guys off. 😂🤣

This yesterday. IPPS havent been paid nothing despite the desperate attempt by ECG to collect debt. Where will you collect 1B dollars ? grin grin

And you broke gov cannot borrow.

Conclusion: Prepare for DUMSOR

https://www.myjoyonline.com/independent-power-producers-demand-payment-of-debts-or/
Independent Power Producers (IPPs) are demanding immediate payment of over one billion dollars owed them by the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG).

According to the IPPs, shutting down plants remains a viable option if debts are not settled.

ECG has in the last few weeks been embarking on an aggressive revenue collection drive geared at enabling it to raise the needed funds to run its operations and to settle its creditors.

This is the power of effectively owning the power infrastructure.
Kenya should learn this and Israel won't have to sabotage you

Yes kenya companies struggle in TZ as their hostility and jealous makes it tough business environment. Suluhu is better as she is a Zanzibari. We have to nail Ethiopia. Then we are done.

Kenya is much worse on issues of protectionism. Ýou banned Ugandan milk, again you denied many Tanzanian businessmen a license to oparate in kenya. I remember this dude sometimes ago he told u guys how backward you are, denying him a space to expand his business into kenya.
But as usual,as we know, most Kenyans have been fed lies by their politicians. A LIE which says "Kenyans are hardworking, most foreign companies can't compete due to the harsh competitions from local companies " That is a big lie.

You should thank Tanzania

Many kenya firms are coming to buy Tanzanian avos and do exportation.

But your joy will be short-lived. Air Tanzania is now bringing cargo planes plus we have gotten access into India and China, with U.S. on a waiting list.

Afterwards,we will close a tap,u won't get a single avo, then I will see how those numbers will fall like a ksh

NNPC, SEEPCO seal pact to unlock 1.2TCF gas from OML 143

The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) and Sterling Oil Exploration and Production Company (SEEPCO) have signed a pact to unlock 1.2 trillion cubic feet of gas from Oil Mining Lease (OML) 143.
The Gas Development Agreement (GDA), according to the Group Managing Director of the NNPC, Mallam Mele Kyari, is in sync with the Federal Government’s National Gas Expansion Programme (NGEP).
He disclosed yesterday that the resource from the project would be processed at the Ashtavinayak Hydrocarbon Limited’s (AHL) 125 million standard cubic feet (mmscf) of gas per day gas plant located in Kwale, Delta State.
“This opens a gateway for other opportunities in the oil and gas industry, not just SEEPCO Group but for other companies too. We are happy that this would unlock significant volumes of gas, which would deliver 125mmscfd to the midstream plant that you have built. Of course, this is a great milestone for us and we are happy to do business with you. You are a very reliable partner because when you say things, you get them done,” Kyari added.
The NNPC boss said the development of OML 143 would bring value for the Federal Government, NNPC and SEEPCO Group that would in turn boost the nation’s economy.
On his part, the Group Managing Director of SEEPCO, Tony Chukwueke, said the pact was a milestone for the country, because it was the “first agreement in Nigeria that fully separates gas development from oil production”, noting that the arrangement would promote holistic development of the gas potential in the block.
He explained that the GDA was a significant step, as it was the first of its kind to expressly include terms that “encourage the contractor to be effective in its cost management, thereby passing on significant revenue to the Federal Government, NNPC and other stakeholders.”
The deal is required, pursuant to the Production Sharing Contract (PSC) obligations, to set out the terms for the development of the 1.2tcf non-associated gas oil block by SEEPCO, which is the contractor with the NNPC as the concessionaire.
The additional gas supply from the project would raise the nation’s gas production profile, make dry gas available for the proposed 650 megawatts NNPC/SEEPCO Independent Power Plant, boost in-country supply of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) and general domestic gas utilization, increase energy security, as well as well create job opportunities for Nigerians.
IN the meantime, the Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR), yesterday, inaugurated a team of experts to evaluate the revoked four oil mining licences from Addax Petroleum Exploration Nigeria Limited to new operators, Kaztech/Slavic Consortium.
The Director, Sarki Auwalu, in a statement signed by Head, Public Affairs, Paul Osu, said the move was in fulfillment of the Federal Government’s commitment to reactivating all moribund oil and gas support facilities across the federation.

SANWO-OLU PERFORMS GROUNDBREAKING OF $250MILLION HYPERSCALE DATA CENTER IN LAGOS

We’re deeply committed to rapid transformation of Lekki corridor, industrial hub – Governor

•Ex-Minister, Frank Nweke, commends Sanwo-Olu on investment, security

Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Tuesday performed a groundbreaking ceremony of a $250million hyperscale data center by Kasi Cloud Limited in Lekki Peninsula, saying his administration is deeply committed to the rapid transformation of the Lekki corridor and other industrial hubs in the State.

He said his government is committed to using education and technology, which is the second pillar of the THEMES development agenda, as a tool to create a 21st Century Lagos that the people of the State dream of and talk about.

The Governor made the statement on Tuesday while performing the groundbreaking ceremony of the $250m Kasi Cloud Data Centre at Leisure Land by Theme Park Site along Maiyegun- Lekki Beach Road, Lekki Peninsula II in Lagos.

The Kasi Data Center, a four-hectares of land, will provide an interconnection and data center platform for Nigeria to support digital ecosystems and drive internet access to over 200 million people. And as the technology hub of Nigeria and West Africa, Lagos State will host the data center, which will be the largest in the country, with numerous economic benefits and nurturing the future generations.

Governor Sanwo-Olu said the data center will create jobs, attract additional investment and deliver high-speed internet access that will be transformational for emerging and existing digital ecosystems.
“On our part as a State Government, we are deeply committed to the rapid transformation of the Lekki corridor, as well as every other industrial hub in the State. We are demonstrating this commitment through policies and interventions designed to improve the business environment, to reform critical government institutions and systems and to unlock new levels of innovative thinking among our people, especially our youth.

“We realise that the people of Lagos are the most formidable assets that we have. They are the ones who will write the narrative of this megacity now and into the future. We must educate and upskill them, to prepare them for the rapidly evolving working environment of the 21st century. We want to use education and technology as a tool to be able to create a 21st Century Lagos that we all dream and talk about,” he said.

Governor Sanwo-Olu while commending Kasi Cloud Limited for building the data center in Lagos, said what KASI is doing is a testament to the capacity and capability of Nigerians to dream world-class dreams and convert those dreams into reality.

“The economic impact that digital infrastructure improvement has on nation-building cannot be overemphasised. The siting of the new infrastructure in this part of Lagos is also not by accident. This is the fastest-growing corridor of the State, home to several large-scale industrial, manufacturing and logistics investments,” he said.

Speaking at the event, former Minister of Information and Enugu State 2023 gubernatorial aspirant, Mr. Frank Nweke (Jnr), commended Governor Sanwo-Olu for positioning Lagos as a pre-eminent destination for investment in Nigeria and indeed the continent of Africa.

He said: “What is happening here today is not an accident at all. And it is on this basis that I want to pay my respect to Mr. Governor and his colleagues in Lagos State for positioning Lagos as a preeminent destination for investment in Nigeria and indeed the continent of Africa. I salute your investment in security. I salute your humility.

“The other reason why I am here today is to draw anointing from you as a gubernatorial aspirant in Enugu State and to also take a few lessons. I know that security is important and I know that even your understanding and knowledge of the economy, the local environment, national and global environment is extremely important. So, in the coming days, I am going to be visiting you just to do some kind of apprenticeship under you to ensure that when I become governor of Enugu by God’s grace, that I can follow your footsteps and do the kind of things we are doing here today.”

In his address, the Founder and CEO of Kasi Cloud Limited, Mr. Johnson Agogbua, who said the data center by his organisation will create jobs opportunity and investment in the community, commended the Babajide Sanwo-Olu administration for its commitment to technology and innovation development in Lagos State.
