An Hausa man was mayor of Enugu and people never cared. Onitsha north is one of the largest local governments in igboland but non Onitsha indigenes from other states have always held that position and people respect that. They cannot go to kaduna and select somebody who has never lived or competed there to be governor. It doesn’t happen in any part of the world.
