He may be right on his position. Not everyone likes Abroad. I've been to several countries of the world myself and to some extent I don't prefer oversees to Nigeria. Also the only genuine people I've seen in all the countries I've been to are the indigenes themselves. Every other nationals esp, Nigerians appear "fake and superficial" in their lifestyles abroad. Need I say, a fellow Nigerian brother just stole my phone last week here. Their hussling is tripple real here and that's why many wouldn't even attempt coming back home because their expectation of better off than people back home isn't actually true.

Having said that, I would not discourage anyone that wants to leave the shores of Nigeria. Abroad favours some and also doesn't favour some. If it doesn't favour you, you are always welcomed back to your country. The only thing I hate in many of the countries I've been to is the feeling and treatment like fourth class citizens. In all, they are great cities and great countries. Nigeria no just near them at all!

If dollar come down and exchange rate reduce prices will reduce and living will be better. Who dey abroad don't need to send money to naija as the people living there will be living well. Even if you send any amount the change it will be OK for them to live. Whether $1 = 1 naira. Abroad still better pass naija.

In as much as I hate America and agreed with some of the points you made, I like to point out to the fact that the Breton woods agreement that was signed in 1945 actually said that every dollar printed must be backed by gold,meaning that they can’t just start printing money like they’re doing now.

Dollar was pegged to gold until 1971 when President Nixon duped the whole world by printing more money without backing them with gold and ever since then inflation has riddled every country in the world.

Truth of the matter is the dollar is merely printed paper backed by nothing. Our government are exchanging what have real value ( gold, minerals , commodities) for mere piece of paper to the Chinese. The Chinese are smart and accumulating value while we accumulate trash. By the time the dollar is devalued all those criminals in government will weep.
What is happening is part of a bigger agenda to implement Central bank digital currency (CBDC).
It is not a mistake what is happening in Nigeria with the scarcity of note and unavailability of new note. It is all part of their plan. Implementing CBDC will give them literal control of everyone's lives. They can determine how much you can have and how much you can spend.

When I traveled out of Nigeria to Europe, nothing like euro then, 100 dollar was just 12k then yet I made money come back home, still move all my brothers to Europe so depends on what you want in life

As for the de-dollarization, that did not start today. Call it any name, if America becomes a signee of it, she will be the richest of that currency. if nigerian govt decides to devalue the currency, dangote and others like him will still have the most money.


Your talk about every country will be equal is also a naivety assumption. If every country decides to start again monetarily, Nigeria will still be backwards in 2 years, and back to this stage in 10years. It is not by jawing brother, it is by work put in, it is by establishment. You cannot compare people that don't have bearings and a strong system to people that have bearing and direction. Nigeria has not had a respectable power generation and distribution since Otedola was born. That is not people you compare to serious people. Moreover, the financial system will not tolerate the money laundering and people corruptly moving around with bags of money.

Even china cannot compare with America as of today and tomorrow. China is steadily devaluing their currency so that their products can seem cheap. That shows they are not confident to let their currency fluctuate. If America and china have the same strength of currency, many people will buy American, because you know they also have quality control. That is why in America, they give you sometime to return the product if there is a defect. Something china cannot insure. Mind you, I respect the discipline of the Chinese and asians in general. China is also the current leader in mathematics. if china keeps up that pace for 15 to 20 years, then maybe china might overtake America properly. But trust America, they are working to stay in the game. STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) is the wave in American schools right now. They don't wait around for stupidity to overwhelm them.


You also made some remarks about those in America feeling some kind of way about finances, and maybe going there to be looking at ceiling. Chairman, you don't know about the day to day struggle in America until you experience it. It is not a joke. Is only a few people that goes there and really have a good paying job in 5 years or more. There are many unanticipated curves that can be thrown your way. It is even worse if you don't have family or friends support, and it has to be dedicated family and/or friends support. I can assure you that many people are not playing around over there, many have become hardened criminals and know that it can be over at anytime. The street life is not a child's play. Just pray that luck is on your side.


Also try and understand the currency market if you want to hinge your future decisions on it. Currency market can give you serious money off just understanding world dynamics. China is surrounded by enemies she created, so china and her enemies have security limitations, why would someone have a long term bet on their currency. The USD became the international currency the day America became the country not hit by recession after the 2nd world war. There was no money in most countries and America (the biggest opportunist then) took over world leadership for this reason.

America stayed out of the 2 wars most of the time until all big countries were exhausted, before striking and taking the glory.
