Remember,I have a job to come back to. I can't possibly leave all that behind and stay in UK illegally.
From your submission, you think the chances of getting a visit visa is slim. In other words, I should wait till my wife gets her ILR then file for spousal visa or go to a neighbouring country to see each other.
from this application you put your business and ECO had doubts … I don’t know about your job but if your guts say to reapply.. then by all means.

Thanks a lot Tutu82, you are a life saver. Your professional advise is well taken and acting on them already.

The inactive business is now being sorted out, as I need to pay some charges and submit a statement of affairs for those years I didn't submit my annual returns.

Give it a few months, 2, 3 or 4 months? Please be precise as my legal adviser want us to reapply immediately. So I can tell him to hang on a little bit and also get these things corrected before I proceed with the application.

My wife is presently on definite leave to remain ( family life), my daughter is on 5years indefinite leave to remain as she just joined her mother( my ex wife) last year. A letter of invitation, bank statement and pay slips from my wife was also provided.

Income and my outgoing funds were clearly stated in my financial statement and management report. Everything was explained In details.

I could send them to your email if that's fine by you. Maybe you could also tell me where we made mistake in the documents provided.

Thank you once again for your time.

Your legal adviser is a bit weird as reapplications become successful based on change of circumstances what has changed that he wants you to put In immediately?.But then again he want to law school and i did not so…

To me i would say give it at least 4 months so you can confidently submit a full 3 months statement.
This isn’t professional advice as you have wrongly stated but based on prior knowledge.

Don’t send your personal information to someone you only met online especially not me as i could be a scammer you just don’t know!.Perhaps blur out identifying information then paste it on here so others like giselle237 can weigh in.

Best wishes.

Good day all,

Please I need advise.

My brother is in the uk. He graduated last year and has started working and has a 3year working permit. His graduation ceremony has just been fixed and he has gotten letter of invitation from the school for Me and my other brother to attend.
I am a PR in Canada and I already have a uk visa.
My other brother is a post graduate student in Nigeria.

I need advice on sponsorship for my other brother.
1. Should I be his sponsor? I can send his flight and stipend money to his naira account, and give him a letter of sponsorship with my ID, payslips and bank statements.
2. Should my brother in uk be his sponsor ?
3. Should both of us be his sponsor? Maybe me for flights and my brother in uk for accommodation?

Please I need advice on making his visa application airtight!

My other bro in Nigeria is 30, he has one study visa denial from Canada in 2016. Never had s visa or travelled out of Nigeria before. No job, still studying.

Thanks alot for any help.

Both of you or any of you can be his sponsor. Write a letter to support his application. Explain in the letter the relationship between you and your brother and the reason you're sponsoring him. Also, you should mention the type of support you are giving him.

To support your claim, enclose copies of your bank statements, work ID, and PR card.

Sponsoring an unemployed adult to travel for tourism is one of the most difficult things to do because most of the time the consular officers don't believe our stories. Don't get me wrong; some people applied and got it, but the percentage is low. Let him try; he might be one of the lucky ones.

Please don't send any money to his account.
Any of you can be his sponsor but show proof of sponsorship; much better if you in Canada decide to be his sponsor.
He should also attach his admission letter since he is a Post Graduate student in Nigeria to act as a tie and attach relevant fees he has paid to the institution to show commitment.
If you have been following this thread, you should have an idea of other documents you need to include.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am currently residing in the United Kingdom, having overstayed my visa by a period of two years. However, I am now looking to return to Nigeria with my wife, who is a British citizen, for the purpose of getting married. I am seeking guidance on how best to approach the issue of my overstay and how to present a compelling case for the granting of a visa.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

resident ke.. you should have started with I am currently illegal… you are not a resident if I could be plain with you. I say this because you are part of the quota making things difficult for others to be granted visa.
Please note that I am not a professional immigration advisor and any suggestions should be checked out independently. Your overstaying should not be a problem as long as there are no aggravating circumstances.
Return home/get married when you want and make your spouse visa application but make sure to get advice from a solicitor.
British citizen spouse sponsor needs to satisfy financial requirement among other requirements

No it won’t. Visa expiration has different timeframes, depending on the length of your visa. For 6 months visa, unless you overstay 6 months, you have no issue even if you stay up to 5 months

Supposed to stay within the time frame stamped for you by immigration at border entry. Doing otherwise will bring issues in the future.

Thanks. I also saying same. Genuine visitors do not usually get granted visas. It is the ones that will over stay these useless ecos will give visas.

That's the irony of it all. Having said that, do follow the advise given and lastly, if anyone gets granted a visit visa, Go and Come back.

Save other innocent visitors from rejections.
Goodmorning

Okay, I just thought it would be easier to interact and explain the documents I submitted as I already don't feel safe uploading my documents here before you even mentioned it. Anyway, I was going to blur any personal information before I send them to you.

Note: Uploaded are the list of documents I submitted with my application above.

Thanks for your help.

Hi everyone,

If I have a letter of invitation covering accommodation and feeding, can a bank balance of $2,500 and N400k hold for me and my daughter’s visit visa application?

My payslips also show positive inflows into my bank account monthly.

Please help 🙏🙏

For UK, they just stamp you in. They don’t assign you a time frame to stay in there. At least from my experience and a few persons that I know.

Does anyone know or have anyone tried the HPI process before?

I graduated from a school which fell under the HPI listed schools in the year I graduated and I am thinking of also exploring career opportunities in the UK.

Anyone?

The process is simple if you qualify.

Your degree must have been earned at an eligible institution. Check the list of eligible schools to see if you qualify to apply.

Prove your knowledge of the English language. To prove this,, you must apply for an Academic Qualification Level Statement from ECCTIS. This document is required to support your application.

Provide proof that you have enough money to support yourself. You must provide evidence that your account balance is at least £1270.

You also need the results of your TB test.

I took my IELTS text 2weeks ago, I just checked the result, I had an excellent score.

So, do I need to do the TB test and Police report before I start applying for jobs in UK?

I have already taken some health courses on Alison and Flourence Academy and obtained some certificates.

What's your advice please?
