Good Day All.

Yesterday, I submitted the PR application, there was a work history that I forgot to put in the personal history which I claimed point for, but I included it in the work history section.

Can this prone any problem on the application?

Is there anything I can do now that I noticed the mistake?

NB: There's no gap in between the personal history, this work history I forgot to include overlapped with the time I was still in the University.

Send a webform to clarify. Indicate that time spent at Yunisa Inc from 2018 to 2019 should be in personal history as well as work history.

Hello everyone. I have submitted my application and awaiting a response from IRCc. However I have some concerns about my Canadian work experience so I was wondering what happens if the 35 points I claimed for it was deducted by the VO, will I still be eligible as my total score is still above the draw cut off that day. I’ve attached pictures to provide more clarity. 489 was the cut off

Depends what draw you were invited under. If it was an all program draw and you were invited as FSW (see screenshot) you'll probably be ok so long as your CRS (excluding the WE) is above the draw CRS and provided VO does not have any misrepresentation concerns.

If you were seen as CEC...I no know o....

Hello house, good morning, I would like to ask a question.
I got NOI and wanted to know if it is possible after nomination to add my fiance to my profile immediately after the nomination and marriage before submitting application after ITA.

I believe you can. Why? Because the nomination has given you 600 points to flex with!

Hi guys. How does immigration officers determine you still have your complete POF in your account before issuing PPR. I want to touch my POF, like 200k out of it but I will replace it when my salary comes by beginning of next month. I submitted my application on 19th March. Is there a way for them to know I touched it? And will this stop them from issuing PPR?

Thank you

People have got ADR for POF in the past.........

Please I will like to ask a question using this scenario below;

For outsourced staffs for example. when filling employment details on their profile, should the outsourcing agency be stated as the employer or should it be the organization they were outsourced to.

I will appreciate your assistance in this regards.

Thank you.

I would say both e.g. ABC Ltd (outsourced to XYZ Ltd)

OR

Use the company that will provide your ref letter and/or the company that makes the salary payment to you.

Yours may be a scenario where LOE makes sense. Just explain the structure in an LOE. Outsourcing is very common.

Hi, I went through the Unilag HRDC Diploma in French and I will tell you that the best that programme can take you to is A2 and the least level you need to be at before writing TEF is B2.

It was almost a waste of time and money for me because I was already at A2 level before I applied for the programme, thinking they were going to help me reach at least B1. On paper it seemed okay, but after starting the programme, other hidden expenses started popping up. We ended up paying more than double of what was advertised on the Unilag website. This wouldn't have been a problem except for the fact the programme taught me nothing I didn't already know.

I won't say I regretted it because some people I met there made the programme worth it, but if I were to do it all over again, I most likely would go for the advanced diploma in business administration like some people I knew went for. That one was more straightforward and even though both the biz admin and French programmes were supposed to run for 9 months, they were done long before we the French people were even halfway through.

Long story short, if you are thinking of the Unilag French programme, get yourself a private tutor or you can attend classes at IEF or Alliance Française. Personally, I prefer IEF classes.

Personal experience is powerful feedback. People who were considering this will find this useful. Thank you !

i helped you ask chatgpt for the noc of a pos agent and it came uo with this:

In Canada, the National Occupational Classification (NOC) code for a Point of Sale (POS) Agent may vary depending on the specific job duties and requirements of the position. However, a possible NOC code for a POS Agent in Canada could be 6623 - Other sales related occupations, which includes various sales and service representatives who provide information, assistance, and sell products or services to customers in retail and wholesale establishments.

I'm disappointed in ChatGPT.....it's not aware that NOC has changed from 2016 to 2021 version.... cheesy

But more seriously, the output is not bad at all. At least it has given a very useful pointer!

Hello everyone.

Please I need your help and I do hope to get an answer from you. As a pos agent in Nigeria, how can I apply for express entry. Is it via the self employed route?
This is getting me confused as I have been an agent since 2019.

I own a shop where I help people with transactions using the pos gotten from the bank. Please how do I get work experience for this and noc code as I just have the certificate gotten from the bank and I just registered it this year as a business.

Please I have done my Wes verification and I want to write Ielts…I really want to be sure before venturing into this route.

Thank you…

Pls see post 3 of page 1 - NOC section.

Are there any other activities you carry out in your shop except paying cash? If the main thing is cash payment only, then that may likely be a TEER 4 or 5 NOC that will not qualify for FSW EE. You can use other work experience in the last 10 years.... it doesn't have to be your most recent job.

For NOC related to retail/sales check out NOC 60020, 62010 or 62101. Also read up on page 1 about self employed candidates.

Check out the NOC hierarchy for NOCs starting with 1 and 6....you may just find something that fits: https://noc.esdc.gc.ca/Structure/Hierarchy

Why is comprehension such a difficult thing in the world?

It’s because you seemed sensible that I responded to you.

I corrected only two things in all you said:
— absolutionist (because I expect you to educate people with poor reasoning and not sit on the fence unless you support their thinking)
— mushroom unis (because you should not trample on another person’s dream, however little they may seem to you).

If you’re black and African, when the door closes to keep out those pesky immigrants, you’ll become the next PREY regardless of the colour of your passport (see Ukraine war for example, where naturalised blacks suffered alongside the black students).

No African Canadian should think they’re better than any other black immigrant— house nigga, field nigga, all nigga.
Please educate them next time.

Apologies for derailing the thread.

unfortunately the black man does not understand the power of community and numbers . The jews, Indians, chinese have mastered it. Almost all the gas stations, fast food outlets, real estate companies are owned by them. While we are there doing one man mopol achieving less. Doing unnecessary competition, buying benz and going on multiple vacations a year to oppress your fellow countrymen hahahaha

I have told fellow nationals here in Canada that these Asians will continue to dominate us whether we like it or not and also to our unborn generations if we don't desist from the mentality of "Me Alone". Hence, we will become slaves to them, I have changed jobs here in Edmonton and my bosses in these place were Indians.

Concerning this, must payment be made to an official account?
Or payments made by clients to my personal account can suffice

It is important to note that the NOC code may vary depending on the specific industry, company, and job responsibilities of the POS Agent. It is recommended to consult with the employer or a qualified immigration consultant for a more accurate NOC code for a specific position.

i however do not think this noc falls under the acceptable ones...please make further research

Hi Guys,

I just came across this thread and I have been able to read from the first page to this page. Please I have few questions to ask the gurus in the house.

I have been trying the study route but I just thought of doing this EE too just to spread the net and hope for the best.

Please these are my questions:

1. Which do you advice I do first? IELTS or WES?
2. Is it possible to be in the Federal Express Entry Pool and at the same time apply for a particular Province Nomination too? I heard it helps to boost the score.
3. Is it that once you are in the pool (I mean after submitting the EE application), you get to waits every draw time to get selected for ITA and if one is not selected for ITA, at what point can you re-submit the EE Application?

Please, I will be grateful for the gurus in the house to help me answers this questions.

Hi Everyone, please I have 2 questions and would be grateful for your response:

1. would one be eligible for student loan if you have a Canadian PR?

2. If the US has refused you study visa twice, Will having a PR help to change the case?

To the 1st question: YES. PR’s have OSAP and I hear that part of it is free.

All the best.

1. does not matter, nothing stops you doing both the same time . you don't know if you will write IELTS multiple times or your school not finding you transcript on time/NASU strike.
2. most PNP nominations are linked to the EE account in the end
3. your EE profile expires after 1 year, you have to open another profile after that.
like Honey said these things have been answered in page 1.
