Naija Talents Watch: Promise Meliga, 15yrs, Beyond Limits Academy/Remo Stars

Highly talented yet frail looking. His potentials and possible levels of talent growth is obviously tied directly to how fast he physically develops. The physically smallest of his mates yet hugely talented.

A forward thinking player who excels anywhere across the final third as an attacking midfielder, winger or forward. As his development continues, his most preferred role will become much clearer.

A lad tipped for great things but needs more time to make the step up physically like the likes of Chigozie Ohamesi and Ariehi Kparabo (2 other young talents and mates of Meliga who are physically more mature for now).

Remember the name.

Beautiful. 🤝🏻 You know your Young Naija talents.

Arthur Okonkwo starts for SK Sturm Graz in the Austrian OFB Cup Semifinals vs LASK.

Moses Usor starts for LASK.

Emmanuel Emegha, the Dutch-Nigerian (turns out for Holland U20s/U21s) also starts for Sturm Graz.

Tank better knock that tiktoker out. But tbh GarcĂa can fight sha. It will be a good one surely but I trust that left bazooka that Tank calls his hand. Once he gets a clean shot it's night night.

My real issue now is Israel. That Brazilian just cannot beat him for a 4th time.

Arthur Okonkwo kept a cleansheet as his side, Sturm Graz, secured a 1-0 victory over Moses Usor's LASK.

This means Arthur Okonkwo will feature in the final of the Austrian OFB Cup.

The cleansheet was Arthur's 4th Cleansheet from 9 games across all competitions for Sturm Graz.

It is also his 14th cleansheet of the season from 35 games in both Crewe Alexandra and Sturm Graz colors.

Israel got distracted b the hype

Instead of him to concentrate, he got comfortable, stopped working hard and started opening youtube channels to discuss fight like a fucking retiree. TBH, his last few fights before the loss were unimpressive. I saw it coming a while before it happened

He has lost that belt for ever. That guy go beat am again

You make everyone on this thread look dumb.

Speak on soccer which you know of don’t criticize won’t you can’t comprehend.

Izzy is building a brand he’s the first ufc athlete to have a shoe deal with puma
And so many endorsements.

You see Logan Paul, and all them YouTubers making millions of reactions??

Izzy won’t fight forever and the money his hype and exposure and endorsements has given him is far what ufc has offered him.

So you’ll tell Ronaldo to focus on football and discard his Instagram? Come on man you’re smarter than this

What Izzy antics outside ufc the kind of money he has seen ? If your name is not Connor Mcgregor you can’t talk to Izzy about money

The highly promising career of Flying Eagles star winger Ibrahim Mohammed ‘Beji’ could be derailed even before it has started after he signed for two different Spanish clubs.

SCORENigeria can specially report that the winger, who was again the Flying Eagles stand-out star at the recent U20 AFCON, first signed for Spanish Segunda Division side CD Leganes soon after he shone at the WAFU B qualifiers in Niger Republic last year.

This deal was put together by a top Nigerian agent based in England, who also agreed a management contract with ‘Beji’.

However, in a most bizarre turnaround, the same player entered into another agreement to play for another Spanish Segunda Division side Cartagena.

This was after Mavlon FC bought him for a staggering $300,000 with the hope to resell him for a Million Dollars.

Unfortunately, Cartagena could not meet up with the financial expectations of Mavlon and instead offered to pay the Lagos team 50% in future sale.

In the meantime, the two competing parties in this transfer mess have so far failed to reach an amicable settlement over this issue.

One of the parties simply told SCORENigeria: “We’re just watching and waiting to see how they will transfer this player.”

The local club ownership of the player is also in serious dispute, SCORENigeria has further gathered.

Super Falcons lead 1nil. Sincerely yours it should have been 3 to 4 nil.
This Haiti team is a very good team I am shocked at how well the Super Falcons are playing.
It seems like a training match for them.
Demehin and Imuran are solid additions to the defense!

Haiti is not that good sir. Not scoring more than once so far shows how poorly the falcons are.

Fabyom, let's be honest, we have disappointed in the final third. Like you rightly said, we should be 3-4 nil up.

This is their first match together and has created several scoring chances! Haiti played the Women's World Cup qualifiers few weeks ago defeating Senegal 4nil and Chile 2-1. From my perspective, I like what I am seeing for a team with only two days of training!!

I like us a bit better in this second half. We just made it 2-0.

Different expectations I guess but I know we should be doing better in that first half.

You could see that Oshoala was playing safe in the first half. It was like 10 and a half against 11. We played great!
The only downside is the missed chances. The more they play together, the better the communication will be!
My SuperNerd remember, this is female football!

Later today, Chuba Akpom, 27 G/A vs Nathan Tella, 20 G/A in the Skybet EFL Championship.

Champ Top Scorer (25 ⚽️) vs Champ 3rd Top Scorer (17 ⚽️)

This also affords us the privilege to observe the tactical match up between my 2 favorite coaches in the Championship this season, Michael Carrick for Boro and Vincent Kompany for Burnley.

It's Middlesbrough vs Burnley in less than 30mins.

4th vs 1st.
