There was tension in Gwadabawa community of Sokoto state, following a conflict between the Fulani and Hausa people residing in the area.

It led to the death of many locals from both sides, including a security operative.

A local official, Aminu Gwadabawa, told the VOA Hausa in an interview monitored by our correspondent on Saturday, that “People in the area were living in fear, as the conflict even claimed the life of a soldier.

“They are afraid of reprisal attacks from the Fulani bandits.”

Survivors speak

According to a survivor, “the Fulani attacked my relation with knives. But he has spiritual powers that would not allow sharp objects to pierce his skin.

“So they intensified the attack on him and succeeded in hacking his head off his body
.”

Similarly, a Fulani man who survived the violent communal clash, narrated his ordeal.

According to him, “I was shot at twice but I survived. I begged them not to kill me. But they shot at me.”

The VOA Hausa reported that when the police in Sokoto were contacted, they said they were still waiting for details of the attack.

Scores were reportedly killed during the conflict, while many sustained injuries.

Attacks allegedly by Fulani bandits, were not new in the area as of recent.

Bandits reportedly raided communities in Rabah and other locations in the Northwest state.

Observe this thread and you'll see how happy the children of hate are...

Nothing gives them pleasure like seeing disagreement or conflict among northern tribes!!

That's why they've been pushing the middle belt agenda to cause division in the north!!

Let's make this clear, there is no clash between Hausa and Fulani in sokoto and there will never be...

There's only clash between farmers and some herdsmen which happens occasionally...

And here, we have our own way of resolving and disescalting such conflict!

When Obedients say “Middle belt” they mean “Christian belt” but what they failed to realize is even in their so called “Christian belts” Muslims have the higher population!!

Niger is 75% Muslims with a Muslim governor Sani Bello

Kogi is 60% Muslims with yahya bello as the governor!

Kwara with 70%. Muslim population with Abdullarazak as their governor!!

Nasarwa is 65% Muslim population with Abdullahi sule as their governor!!

In the north central only plateau and Benue have Christian governors!!

With plateau having 50-50 both faith population while Benue is the only state in the north central with over 90% Christian population yet piter obi lost the state!!

The north remain the most united region in Nigeria with over 300 ethnic groups!!

Children of hate are already celebrating the war between Hausa and Fulani... Una go wait tire!!

These two tribes with time have intertwined into the most powerful Nation in Nigeria!!

The term middle belt to them is area with large population of Christans... That why they even have the chicken mind to add Gombe and bauchi...

Why are these guys obsess with northern Nigeria for God sake??

However... Let's me educate some of you, especially the Igbos because they're the number one people who are tirelessly pushing this agenda... And we know they will always fail!! as usual

The only people in the north that to an extent share that middle belt sentiment with you in the whole of northern Nigeria are the Christian part of plateau that is because of their rivalry with their plateau Hausa/Fulani Muslims and Benue state, the only State in the north central with over 90% Christian population!!

But you see Niger, Nasarawa,Kaduna, taraba and other states in the north you added into that middle rope narrative that is driven by religiously bigotry has failed before arrival!!

The north remain the most united region in Nigeria!!
Yes not every northerner is a Hausa/Fulani... We have kanuri, kanakuri,Babur,Hausa, nupe, gwari,Fulani, bande, shuwa Arabs and hundreds of tribes in the northern Nigeria!!

Among all these tribes in the north... Some of these tribes have Christian population among them!!!

Yet Arewa have been politically and linguistically united!!!

Majority of the northern tribes adopt Hausa as a general language!!!
Most even answer Hausa name including the indigenous Christian people of plateau.
They have names like Dauda, murna, ayuba, ishiaku, bako, Gambo, and many Hausa related names!!

Then why will someone from Aba be shouting middle belt is not north??

Why are these people who are deeply divided in their own enclave... Be putting so much energy in tying to divide the great north??

Is this jealousy or a kind of mental disorder??

Take good look at what they're calling middle belt...

"President Muhammadu Buhari has thrown his weight behind the people of Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic(SADR), otherwise called Western Sahara, stating that NIGERIA WOULD ENSURE THE REALIZATION OF THEIR SELF-DETERMINATION AND INDEPENDENCE..(from Morocco)

North Central( Middle belt ) is now tired of their marriage with the monolithic north and wants to stay on its own. Shagari grandson and others are begging them to stay put. Hausas now fighting fulanis in Sokoto. Yet IPOB separatist advocacy is the obsession of some demented fellas.

Fulani should let Hausas leave in peace.

This terrorism is unacceptable, given that the Hausas are aborigine; they are native to the land,

It is someone like Femi Fani-Kayode that you should pity first. Hausa fighting Fulani or vice versa will claim people like him as collateral damage.

This is a welcome development if u ask me. The fulanis should do more harm across the core North so they can feel what others down south are feeling

Historic. The Hausas are fed up with Fulani criminality I guess. They stayed away for election period and then resumed. That tells us a story - Fulani can survive without spilling the Hausa man's blood.

The VOA Hausa reported that when the police in Sokoto were contacted, they said they were still waiting for details of the attack.
Even the police is tired of their incessant tribal wars. "They're now just like let them kill themselves, we'll come and arrest the survivors later "
