Not just restaurant but everything you buy.. That's 42% is not going to the government, only the 15% vat goes to the government and the rest goes into separate funds for the purpose they were set up for.

So the more you spend, the more tax you pay. This is a better way to tax especially in an entrepreneur base economy where people are earning huge sums of money monthly

This is why Ghana can self finance massive infrastructure projects...those who have money pays their fair share without even knowing.

In Nigeria's case, Abacha was the strongest of them all. A general who participated in every successful coup in Nigeria from 1966 until his time. As a top ranking officer to Babangida in 1990, he helped save Babangida from a well planned coup. He also is on record to be the only General and former Head of state who successfully passed through all ranks of the Nigerian army without skipping any stage via promotion (the rest did including Obasanjo, Buhari, and Babangida).

Yet Abacha who tried to be that Kagame strongman in Nigeria and was smart enough to resist all coups and internal forces within and without, even he couldn't rule forever as he planned. He was eventually poisoned.

There are some things I like about Abacha though if only he was nicer (to an extent at least) , but he was truly a no nonsense person.
One story I would never forget was when a Christian was stoned in the north around 1995 for insulting Muhammed. It was said that within a few days the perpetrators were all rounded up and put in prison including top Islamic clerics who supported the evil. This is something I wish our current Presidents could do ( at least a little bit), not giving a fvck sometimes and damning the consequences.

Arla Demonstration Farm, we inspected the facilities including the cow, heifer & calf isolation barns as well as the clinic and milking parlour

The farm will accommodate 400 pure bred Holstein cows which can produce up to 60 litres of milk per day
In addition to the farm house, calf pen and cow shed, each family will receive 2HA of pasture. They will also have common access to 240HA of irrigated farmland.

The team also visited the Arla Demonstration Farm which is scheduled for completion in the first quarter of 2023.
