Hello all, has anyone tried renewing their Nigerian international passport in the US recently? My passport expires in August 2023 and I want to know how & where I can renew it without much stress. I am currently living in Missouri. Thanks.

ATL might be your cheaper option. HQ is in DC

There is an Agency in ATL that handles passport services. Edventure https://www.nigeriapassportandvisas.com/
Disclaimer: I have not personally transacted business with them. Do your own due diligence.

Good luck.

You should be able to track it on your visa portal. Not sure if it still works although email is more reliable. Which school/state are you coming to?

Okay thanks. I'm just worried because my interview is over a week now. Im going to the University of Louisiana Monroe

Good morning guys!!!
I have been having issues with filling my DS-160 application. I can’t go further after filling the surname and security questions. Anyone experiencing that or just me? It’s been like this for 3 days now. Please assist me.

I had same issues, but I was able to fill it out today around that 2am.

Hello my friend, please do you have the past visa interview questions and answers? Accepted and denied? Thank you.

Hi.
There are no past visa interview questions and answers. Anyone that tells you he has one is trying to dupe you.
Try to join a mock group for visa interview. Most are free. This will help you better.

Hello people, please who has past interviews pdf answers? Accepted and denied? I will really appreciate this.
No 2 interviews are the same. VO may ask applicant1 about his/her course of study in the US …may ask applicant2 about his/her mentors/professors in the US… may ask applicant3 about his/her family finances in Naija.

Please, I want to know my chance of getting I-20 from my school and the chance of getting approved for F1 visa. I am working with my state government and I intend to use them as my sponsor, our monthly subvention is about 18 millions naira and my tuition and living expenses for my masters program is in that region.

Hello all, I am currently in the USA with my wife on a F-2 visa though she will be on OPT. I have gotten to a Masters program without funding. My questions are as follow:
1) what are funding sources I can explore?
2) is it advisable to come to Nigeria for visa interview if date is secured or should I adjust to F-1 from here?

Thank you all

No matter your COA, 18m monthly (over 200m annually) is enough to get your I-20 form. But for Visa, funding isn't the only reason people are denied visas, there are plethora of reasons. But on the funding part, if you can state reasons why the government is sponsoring you and your importance to them, then it's good enough.

Ideally, you should get an email within 72hours (3rd day) after your interview telling you to go pick up your passport, however, some get it weeks after. So, it's nothing to worry about, you'd be informed when it's ready.

Thank you, I know that already. I just needed them for practice. There used to be some people that have those docs here a long time ago. I guess a lot has changed here.

The Unis in Missouri are GRE-centric. Just shoot your shots & hope for the best outcome. Good luck in your applications.
