Soyinka Left Issues Of Ethnic Profiling, Voter Suppression And Dwelt On Datti’s Comment Shows how insensitive he was and far from reality....... you wonder what we have gained under his Nobel Laureate that is not useful to any other person than himself..... I challenge Him to Rather engage Aisha Yesufu ....I trust Aisha she wont allow him to land before rushing him with question in spaces of seconds... some old men just need to zip their mouth....in my town in Ondo, we say Ti a ba ti de Ajo kumo, iwon ara eni la nmo. 12 Likes 2 Shares

BERNIMOORE:LOL. Datti too dignified for Wole Soyinka? LOL. A combination of Obi and Datti is not worth a debate with Wole Soyinka. The issue with Nîgeriàn politics vis-a-vis the society of Nigeria is that whoever supports what we want is ours and whoever does not support us is Iesser. If Datti and Achebe are seated today, who is dignifying who? I believe u will say Achebe is dignifying Datti, so why turning it the other way round because Soyinka is not on your side? 6 Likes |

BERNIMOORE: Tell your what your own father has contributed to even your family, not to talk of Nigeria. None of Wole Soyinka's children will come so low to take on Aisha Yesufu who just told the world that her parents are Southern Almajaris. Maybe you can get your father to engage the street Almajari called Aisha Yesufu 5 Likes |

JagabanBorgu:Bro let's be honest for once, how could an elderly, well respected man like wole soyinka dwell on ditti's comment, while ignoring the cases of voters suppression in lagos, thuggs attack in lagos, mc oluomo comments, bayo onanuga ethnic profiling and many more. He instead turned on people who simply wanted a change from the old order. Every insult he got from those boys, are well justified. 2 Likes |

Great0ne1: Soyinka gives damning verdict on last elections 6th April 2023 Soyinka to FG- Address Obasanjo’s concerns • Says polls one of worst in Nigeria Nobel Laureate, Prof. Wole Soyinka, has passed a damning verdict on the 2023 general elections describing it as one of the worst in the history of Nigeria. He particularly condemned the attacks on non-indigenes in various states where violence broke out during the presidential and gubernatorial elections. In an interview with ARISE NEWS, yesterday, Prof Soyinka described the violence that dogged the election as disgraceful and shameful. He said the polls fell below the expectations of many Nigerians who had hoped for a more credible, free and fair process. Soyinka observed that prior to the elections, he had proposed that the established candidates made way for infusion of a younger generation into politics so as to allow “fresh blood” and bring in new and revived thinking for the betterment of the nation. The Nobel Laureate clarified the type of structure he would like the country to operate, saying its decentralisation would allow each of the various arms down to the grassroots level perform their duties independently. Soyinka also accused the media of jeopardising public discourse by taking a stance in reporting political matters rather than objectively putting out news for public analysis, especially regarding the statements made by the vice presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Datti Ahmed. Soyinka condemned him for making statements that he deemed menacing and could incite national discord. I had to go and copy this from the newspaper and paste it here so u can see it. Wole Soyinka crîtîcîzed the whole election process, all what u mentioned (I don't want to copy all) he said Datti shouldn't threaten d media and 0bid!0ts took it personal and started attàckiñg him, now u are painting a picture of where Wole Soyinka didn't talk about the negatives in d election rather than talking about Datti. Na wa o. Are we forb!dden to be truthful for once? 2 Likes |

The problem with many of you Igbos is that you are excessively foolish most times. I will explain, every truth is relative. Let me use the 2023 presidential election to explain. Igbos claim the election was rigged n I asked igbos to present a single presidential election in Nigeria since 1999 that was not rigged. Let me rephrase this question igbos should tell Nigerians since 1999 which suffered the least rigging compare to 2023 presidential election ? If you claim Jonathan Ebele election was not rigged just bring out PDP election result in the SE n SS n compare the number of voters to 2023 election. Add the numbers up n tell me what led to reduced voting population ? Now, if there is no election in the history of Nigeria since 1999 that the rigging was as reduced n curtailed as the 2023 presidential election why does the Igbos want the election cancelled ? This are what the international community looked at to congratulate the president elect while hoping n supporting the govt to be more transplant in organizing more credible polls. Now what does the Igbo want n how visible is that ? For Obi to be declared winner or Tinubu to be disqualified knowing Obi came third n there as never been a situation where a president elect was ever disqualified. Some want a new election but what guarantees an Obi victory in a new election ? You think Nigerians will be fine with the winner being disqualified after winning the election glaringly knowing similar thing happened to MKO n you expect the region of the winner to stay calm after being cheated I'm 1993 n now 2023. Make many of your foolish Igbo de reason now. In as much as there is issue with the 2023 presidential election the supreme court will n must rule in favour of Bola Tinubu to sustain Nigeria. Any other pronouncement is a recipe for anarchy n the judges n Nigeria need decide if they are ready for that. BERNIMOORE: |
