yeah, spirituality in nigeria is not new to me, and it is increasing. as for this church too ,yeah, faith in jesus makes you special and the bible is quoted as often as possible. i'm not saying all theists have the same view of god or the spiritual but i have been to several churches since i was less than 10 years. the church service can be something to just check out again.

That's not a bad reason, churches have some of the better community building in this part of the world. In other places you could find a club or other community for something you like, over here you hardly get that. The only downside is you have to believe or act like you do or else.

yeah, they never wanna hear i used to believe. all the time i was homeless, it was either an uncompleted building or open space or any church or even mosque available 4 the night no matter its condition,i'd lie on a bench, at a point ,on a board or something like, there were times i had to use a classroom but even when i was with my parents, i hardly slept on a bed. that my parents,siblings and i have had to change location over ten times has no way to prove anything divine to me but the need to socialize just persists. yeah, i can't be telling people around me divinity is false but what they call spiritual does not amaze me.

When you have faith, faith is not looking at the pastor, Church or environment.

It is an interpersonal relationship between you and the Invisible God. And it requires faith for you to have a relationship between you and Jesus Christ. Why? You have never seen Him that is why the bible says in the Book of Hebrews 6:6 " For without Faith it is impossible to please Him, For He that cometh to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him."


Another verse of the Bible puts it more clearly in the book of John 20:29 " Because you have seen me you have believed:. Blessed are those who have not seen,and gave believed."


It takes Faith to believe that Jesus Christ exist,all you have to do is humbly accept Him as your personal Lord and Saviour,confess and forske your Sins. Ask H to wash you with His precious blood and tell Him to give you His grace and mercy daily to continue in His word.


After you have done that congratulations you are now a born again Child of God.

Get a Bible read and pray daily morning and evening and make sure you attend a Church where Jesus Christ is the center of the message alongside Holiness and Righteousness.

Unless you have some other connection with them like professional, family or business most of them will interact based on church matter so you have to do the halleluyahs and praize da lords and god bless pastor things. off course , i have had to do such things. i mean even the private schools owners expect all workers to be theists and yeah i have not met any teacher that is an atheist. in fact, i have only met atheists online.

It always depends on my relationship with the person. Most of the people I consider close to me know I am an atheist but it hardly comes up cos our relationship is not based on church things.

when spirituality is attached to everything , well, i have to say i dont even know what to say. i once got a warning from an employer even before i said it. everyone around me is so religious that calling myself an atheist is next to lunacy. they will be like let us pretend he said nothing or they simply find me crazy.
