As in eh Uncle Kog. What people don't seem to realise is that we might never again see a "high-level" technical Pure Number 9 like Ronaldo De Lima was in his days..... unless posterity show us kindness in another bad-ass similar talent that will emerge with time. From the past (Fontaine era and pre-fontaine) till current times, there has never been a more technical pure CF than O fenomeno (The Phenomenon) himself. Ronaldo De Lima is the Greatest Number 9 to have ever played the game. He was Freaking Everything. Freaking High-end technical, Strong, Fast, Aerially good, Awesome finisher, could link up plays, could hold up plays, could play as a #10 even, could play false 9 and still comfortably play off the shoulder of the last defender. Also could play as a mobile target man. Man is the most complete 9 of all time and I don't see any of the current strikers of this generation coming close. Luis Suarez tried but not even him matched close enough to Ronaldo's Well-roundedness in the role. The only area of the role where R9 will surely be surpassed is goal scoring numbers/finishing and thanks majorly to the injuries that halted him at some point. Kog45: 3 Likes 1 Share |

Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by TheSuperNerd(m): 12:54pm On Apr 09, 2023 |
femianski: He is back training separately but he is not at 💯. There are considerations to see if he would likely make the bench on Wednesday or skip the UCL 1st leg tie altogether. Time will tell. He posted this 3 hrs ago. 2 Likes

Eto'o, Zlatan and Henry were awesome but none of them touch the one and the only Phenomenon. He could do it all. None of these guys stand up to R9 in high-class technicality and even "tekkers". The Greatest Number 9 of all time. Deal with it. 👌🏽 Besides, why you like to dey collect Ls? 😂😂😂 Blueelf: 4 Likes |

Ronaldo de Lima at full power and injury free is the most fearsome striker any defender will be unlucky to face. Imagine combining Messi and CR7 attributes together that's what you will get with Ronaldo. Blueelf: 4 Likes |

chrisooblog:you are spot on. De Lima is the best and most complete number 9 ever. He was quick, skillful, physical and a top class finisher With the soft and overrated defenders of this generation R9 would hv scored tons of goals against them if he was still playing |
