Understanding Nigerian politics is not very difficult: it's a gang-up between Fulani-Yoruba "elites" against the igbos.
Well, I think many people know this already, probably they are just being a typical Nigerian who doesn't like saying things the way it is or maybe being diplomatic.

I am not saying this because I am an Igbo man or I am trying to be sentimental, I am saying this because it's the way it is and its true and many of you will agree with me irrespective of your tribal or political affiliation. I would have said same if I were a Fulani or Yoruba person.

Now the Fulani and Yoruba elites have this strategy of manipulating their people into believing that an Igbo presidency is a the most dangerous singular threat to the unity of this country in order to maintain the status quo to further steal the nation's treasury. The saddest part of it is that, the strategy works, it's working and that's why Peter Obi lost. If I should make a rough guess I think 50% of yorubas and about 95% of hausa/Fulanis are trapped in the illusion. At the end of the cycle, the average person who voted because he's entrapped in tribal mirages does not actually get a special package with respect to dividends of democracy.
Just take a good look at the north, within the past 3 days, Fulani herdsmen have slaughtered more than 100 people on record, the human development index is very low, poverty, unemployment and standard of living is ridiculously lower than most countries that are in a full blown war.
If you come to Southwest, the quality of life outside of lagos state and even in many areas inside of Lagos is no better than any other state in southeast and southsouth. It's still this same low unemployment rate, unavailability of basic amenities and endemic poverty. It's goes a long way to show you that irrespective of the tribe your president comes from, he will impact your life if he wants to and he will Bleep you up if you wants to.

During elections, one begin to ask himself whether we want to get out of this mess or you just want your tribesman to be there. For me, I do not care if the savior will come from China or Senegal, I just want a better life for myself and future generation and that will be much easier if there is a good governmental structure in place to help people reach their full potentials.

I know Nigerians don't like saying the truth, somethings are better left unsaid but I got to say this again "Nigerian politics is a strategic gang-up by Fulani and Yoruba elites against Igbos" because there is this endemic igbophobia that is existing and whoever can use it as a tool will appease the emotions of the people over logic.

In conclusion, what I have learnt from this election is that: Election in Nigeria is tribal because most Nigerians still cannot think, about 95% of Hausa-Fulanis and 50% of Yorubas prefer that their suppressors should come from either Fulani or Yoruba tribe than for the Savior to be an Igbo man. It is better for them to remain in a chain locked with the keys with their tribesman than for an igbo man to come and free them.

I don talk am as e take be, no mincing of words. We all know deep than that Peter Obi is far better than Tinubu and Atiku. We also know deep down that we are in for another 8 years of shege with Tinubu as president. If you like be giving yourself false hope that a leopard can change his footsteps. To Tinubu, this is business as usual and he has invested a lot in bribes, he will recup his investments and also make profit.

The gang up has tied the destinies of all poor Nigerians, and did nothing bad to the Igbos who already knows what the deal is.

You will first hurt yourself before hurting Igbos.

Your opinion
The truth of the matter, the offspring of children of hate are rejected globally. They are the most ungrateful population in the World.
Take for instance, the 1st military coup in Nigeria, the Nigeria Civil War, the ABN conspiracy and annulment of June 12, the attempt by a loser to rubbish the victory of a winner in the just concluded presidential election, the ranting and indirect invitation and calling 📞 for a military government to derail our democratic processes, the calling for ING. These and lot more reduce the chances of the descendants of children of OSU and hate to govern Nigeria.
Accept or reject it, the ranting Obi-diot would never ruled in Nigeria.
The worst thing he did to his people was worse than a collateral damage. A feedback generational effect is awaiting the future children of hate in future elections.
The summary is not just about conspiracy, rather a part of unwritten constitution of the FRN, that No Igbo son or daughter shall get to Aso Rock as no 1 citizen of this country.
Know this and know peace.

See them creating burner accounts to reply to themselves, deceiving themselves, deluding themselves, double downing their echo chamber of pointing fingers instead of looking inward and admit that your plight as an ethnic group in Nigeria is self inflicted. Once you come to this admission maybe then you can find solutions to your problem and look for ways to extend an olive branch, build bridges and earn their trusts.

OP, not to get in the way of your conspiracy theory (I know how much fun those can be), but how is it some sort of tribalistic "gang up" by Hausas and Yorubas when the region which went in the most for voting along "tribal" lines was your very own? Do you really expect us to believe that the reason why Obi got 95% of SE votes was because he was soooo much better than the other two candidates, even while Yorubas and northerners were voting for Obi in Lagos and Plateau?

95% freely voting for one single party is simply unheard of in any truly democratic country: it is either evidence of mass rigging, or of an ethnocentrism so intense that "our pikin" is seen as automatically superior to everyone else, even if all objective evidence might point the other way. It isn't as if Peter Obi turned Anambra into a second Singapore during his 8 years in office.

It is a lie! To win Nigerian election, you need coalition and support across at least two major tribes and region. This is more than just choosing a vice presidential candidate from there. It involves meeting the opinion leaders and the Who's who in the region beyond the political class, you need the civil societies, religious leaders, youth groups, artisinal associations, pressure groups and what have you. It is very possible for the Igbo nation to have this so long they are willing to extend the handshake across the Niger. In the last election, almost all Igbo people voted a particular candidate yet, it was not enough to win notwithstanding that the VP candidate is from the north.

There you go again, projecting your own faults onto others. If anything I said is a "lie", why not bring out evidence contradicting it? You can't do so because you are the one engaging in a failed attempt to deceive through lies and misdirection.

Labour Party and Peter Obi is an "Ibo president by all means" movement. This rant just proves it once again.

Peter Obi that was a rubbish governor in Anambra has suddenly become a Messiah grin

Anyway, as Soludo and Uzondima had recommended last year, ibos need to form alliances. You need alliances to win elections in Nigeria. You don't win elections by insulting those you seek to build alliances with, neither would you win election by playing the victim/emotion card.

Peter Obi has also helped us realise that elections can't be won via religious bigotry means.

I want to advise Igbo to remain calm, focused and double their efforts on entrepreneurship and education for their children because votes don't count yet. When fuel subsidy is removed in May, most Nigerians will be moribund and slide into deeper poverty. God has in his infinite wisdom positioned most
you in commerce which most people used to deride you with but now the only economic activity functioning in Nigeria, you will never be worse off.
