Matthew 11:28-29 28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This quote is DEEP and needs long interpretation. But is the most powerful quote, for me; one that comes directly from the Master Himself. |

Wagwanbrethren:1. But none of the verses you quoted clearly indicate that God gave Jesus Christ as a sacrifice, and none of them indicate Jesus Christ did stand as a sacrifice in the manner you assume. This is clearly a case of the Ought-is fallacy where one begins by assuming true an idea and then attempts to argue for it against evidence—wishful thinking, a fallacy the religious folks love to relish in. 2. Ok. Sure, God knows all from the beginning and had a plan for the end even from the beginning. What does that have to do with your claim that Jesus Christ was a sacrifice made by God? 3. But He got back up after 3 days in the grave. If Jesus Christ had, for instance, ■ been murdered along the road to, say, Jericho, ■ drowned in the river Jordan while trying to get to the other side ■ been stabbed by one of the madmen he was attempting to cast a demon out of .... and had gotten up 3 days later, would you have also considered it a sacrifice made by Him? Cause the whole eternal life and salvation offering would still have applied even then. 4. No, instead, Jesus Christ is written to have known from the get-go, like most all of us, that He was going to die. That is what is instead written. This "sacrifice" angle was added by the religious folks and you seem to have learned what you know from them — as you had earlier revealed in a previous comment — and as such are unable to abandon the idea entirely even when Scripture reveals that Jesus Christ made clear that He was no such. |

Matthew 28:19-20 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen. |

yommen:1. The claim that God sacrificed Jesus Christ is not of Scripture. Particularly since Jesus Christ Himself pointed out that God does not desire sacrifices. |

Freo:1. That may be so for Allah, but in Scripture, God having Sons is nothing new at all as even in Genesis 6, we read of some of them. |
Re: Which Bible Verse Has Brought More Souls To Christ? by Kobojunkie: 7:52pm On Apr 09, 2023 |
blahc007:1. According to Jesus Christ, the Gospels begin with the Knowledge of God's Truth without which you are not in but a child of the devil- John 8 vs 31 -44. Without a clear knowing of the Truth of God --- the Gospel --- you are nothing but a minion of the enemy where the Gospel is concerned. Hence the reason why a solid foundation is first essential and it is for this reason that the disciples spent almost 4 years under the tutelage of Jesus Christ.. 2. The Gospel can only have real practical impacts after a solid foundation on God's Truth has been established, not before. |

Re: Which Bible Verse Has Brought More Souls To Christ? by Kobojunkie: 9:00pm On Apr 09, 2023 |
naijakissleave:1. This is not true at all since what God instead said is that He will give understanding to those who use the understanding that they have. He also said that for those who do not use their understanding, He will take away even the little understanding they once had. - Matthew 13 vs 12 & Matthew 25 vs 29 & Mark 4 vs 22 - 24. This idea that yo first need a spirit to understand what is commanded is not of God but of the delusions of your pastors and mogs. Nicodemus, for one, did not have a spirit inside of him at the time that Jesus Christ explained the teachings of the Gospel to him in John 3 vs 1 - 21. |

Kobojunkie:Hebrews 10:10 And by that will, we have been made holy through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ once for all Or,can't you see sacrifice boldly written there? Another one is 1 John 4:10 This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins . You still want argue this one? 🤣 I've given you two different verse that supports my argument, left for you to discredit the bible as a whole! 😄 2. You brought the part where you said no where in the Bible was it stated that God knows the beginning to the end, I gave you the part and you trying to turn around the question. Now yve agreed to it, that's out. It's not my claim, rather what your Bible says. Check my first point for Better understanding! 3. If Jesus was killed in a different way aside from being nailed on the cross, it would not be considered a sacrifice because, a sacrifice is something that is given up voluntarily. It would not be considered a sacrifice because he would not have chosen to die that way. It was all God's plan after all, so there was nothing that was going to change it! 4. I don't believe the story in the first place. Everything I said there is from the bible the Christians believe. My argument are against yours on this particular part, and shouldn't be taken as my general belief! |

Wagwanbrethren:1. Wishful thinking is result of flawed reasoning. 2. No! Go back through your responses again. God knows all but Jesus Christ doesn't since He, Jesus Christ is not God's Knowledge or Wisdom. Rather, He is God's Life and God's Truth. 3. Now you aren't making any sense. Go back to what Jesus Christ said in John 10 vs 17-18 to maybe get an idea of how ridiculous your assertion here is. 4. None of what you have said is from scripture. As all you have done is reveal you had a religious connection to the religion in your recent past since you regurgitate many of their meaningless doctrines which are without scriptural backing. |

Kukutenla: Technically speaking she was not his OWN daughter-in-law ; So the question itself is wrong. An adopted son is NOT in the place of an actual son. An adopted son is a son from a stranger person. So when the adopted son is not the same as own son then how can adopted sons wife be someones own daughter in law ? The prophet saws knew by inspiration from Allah that Zayed will divorce his wife and that she will be his (the Prophet’s wife). He, however, feared that people might insult him as someone who marries his adopted son’s wife, something forbidden in the pre-Islamic traditions. That's when the verse was revealed: “And (remember) when you said to him (Zayed bin Haarithah; the freed slave of the Prophet (صلى الله عليه و سلم) on whom Allah has bestowed Grace (by guiding him to Islam) and you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه و سلم too) have done favour (by manumitting him) “Keep your wife to yourself, and fear Allah.” But you did hide in yourself (i.e. what Allah has already made known to you that He will give her to you in marriage) that which Allah will make manifest, you did fear the people (i.e., Muhammad married the divorced wife of his manumitted slave) whereas Allah had a better right that you should fear Him. [Qur’an 33: 37]. So the matter is Crystal clear to those who seek the truth; regarding those people who are INTELLECTUALLY DISHONEST who try to tarnish the reputation of prophet Muhammad saws by concocting false and shameful stories to them my response is as below: The ONLY RELIABLE source of information regarding the life history of prophet Muhammad saws is through Islamic sources and the reason for divorce and subsequent marriage to prophet Muhammad saws is mentioned therein - either you rely on a source of information fully or you don't...you cant take one piece of information from Islamic sources and then mix your own adulterated story in it and then start selling as authentic. Those doing so should be ashamed of themselves & remember that if you try to spit ion the sky it will fall on yr face. More Proofs: 1) Prophet Muhammad SAWS was having no dearth of beautiful women to get married to. He could have got any women he desired for marriage. 2) He advised his adopted son to continue with his marriage when he was informed by him about his marital differences and his intentions to divorce his wife. [If he was really keen in marrying his adopted sons wife then he would have encouraged him to divorce her] 3) It was the Prophet (صلى الله عليه و سلم) who worked for her to get married to Zayed when he was his adopted son. Though she was not very keen on marrying Zayed R.A in the first place. (This marriage continued for 1 year after which there was divorce.) So the dirty minds can only think dirty things, however we need to remember that he was Prophet of Allah and he was SINLESS and far removed from such filth & those who question his character are either ignorant OR themselves characterless. He prophet Muhammad saws was the man of noble character and the best human being to have set foot on earth. |

Freo:You're just making excuses. The question I ask is, in the eyes of morality and culture and tradition, is it right to marry the wife of someone who calls you father whether he is adopted, biological or even mere Foster? There is something called conscience in man. Is it in tune with culture and tradition to marry your son's ex- wife? If we all knock OBJ for allegedly sleeping with his son's wife. If Ruben was cursed by Jacob for trying to sleep with one of his concubines not even wife, how much more a man who claims to be a prophet marrying his adopted son's wife. How is that behaviour noble and best among all humans? |
Re: Which Bible Verse Has Brought More Souls To Christ? by Freo(m): 2:17pm On Apr 10, 2023 |
Kukutenla: Prophet Muhammad is the greatest man to ever liveth the earth, the greatest messenger of Allah, the greatest creation of Allah. He is beyond whatever you can imagine. God rewrote his own laws because the Prophet had a hidden crush on his adopted son's wife also because he was human and he had feelings, God willingly let the couples separate so the prophet could marry her. This is to show how much love the all father (God) has for the prophet. Take some time and read about the Prophet and his teachings, you'll realise how much good of a man he was. He made everything about this life much much easier. |
Re: Which Bible Verse Has Brought More Souls To Christ? by Kukutenla: 3:13pm On Apr 10, 2023 |
Freo:You have not given any cogent reason why he is the greatest man to ever live or the greatest messenger. It seems your god or Allah exists solely to attend to Muhammad's whims and caprices including his lusts. It seems he also bows to Muhammad's wishes. But even at that, I must interject that Allah probably made a mistake. In changing his own laws to fit Muhammad's proclivities, he could have at least ensured there were two or three witnesses so it would not look as if it's Muhammad just making these things up to fit his personal longings. I think you'll agree with me it will be hard for anyone to believe Allah wanted to change his law to fit Muhammad's wish and he still chose to communicate that change through Muhammad. If a prophet were to do that nowadays, I'm sure you'll join everybody else to label him a fake prophet |
Re: Which Bible Verse Has Brought More Souls To Christ? by Freo(m): 8:50am On Apr 11, 2023 |
Kukutenla: That is why i tell you that Allah doesn't need anyone's witness, he does what he wants, he told us everything including the ones we think are the bad ones, he shows how great and magnificent he is, he does anything he wants. |
Re: Which Bible Verse Has Brought More Souls To Christ? by Kukutenla: 6:11pm On Apr 11, 2023 |
Freo:Lol. But I'm this matter and according to what you previously said, Allah did Mohammed's will not what he, Allah wanted. If Allah does what he wants, he could have prevented the marriage to zayd initially instead of the morally repugnant method of having Muhammad disown his son and marry his wife |
Re: Which Bible Verse Has Brought More Souls To Christ? by Freo(m): 6:29pm On Apr 11, 2023 |
Kukutenla: You're literally going off point who said anything about disown? Where you heading to? you think you're manipulative right? Go and research on the prophet then comeback Till then 👍🏼 |

Re: Which Bible Verse Has Brought More Souls To Christ? by Freo(m): 7:35pm On Apr 11, 2023 |
Kukutenla: Adoption in its legal form is prohibited in Islam, but Islam allowed persons to cover needy namely orphaned children with protection and financial support. In other words, any parent can give the parental care and affection to a child without granting him any legal obligations such as inheritance. However, the Quran gives specific rules about the legal relationship between a child and his/her adoptive family. The child's biological family is never hidden; their ties to the child are never severed. The Holy Quran specifically reminds adoptive parents that they are not the child's biological parents: ...Nor has He made your adopted sons your (biological) sons. Such is (only) your (manner of) speech by your mouths. But Allah tells (you) the Truth, and He shows the (right) Way. Call them by (the names of) their fathers; that is more just in the sight of Allah. But if you know not their father's (names, call them) your brothers in faith, or your trustees. But there is no blame on you if you make a mistake therein. (What counts is) the intention of your hearts. And Allah is Oft-Returning, Most Merciful. (Quran 33:4-5) |

Re: Which Bible Verse Has Brought More Souls To Christ? by Kukutenla: 7:56pm On Apr 16, 2023 |
Freo:Lol. What fake meaning? It is something that is clear to the neutral mind not blinded by religious sentiments that it is morally wrong to disown one's son and then marry his wife under any pretences. How would you feel if your father disown you and then marries your wife? |
Re: Which Bible Verse Has Brought More Souls To Christ? by Freo(m): 10:01am On Apr 17, 2023 |
Kukutenla: One's ADOPTED* son. Allah S. W. T created the whole world because of the prophet S. A. W so i don't care bout whatever anyone says about him because i know everything about the prophet and i concur that he is the greatest man to ever liveth the earth, world statistics says so to; the prophet is the most influencial and most popular human ever. |
Re: Which Bible Verse Has Brought More Souls To Christ? by Kukutenla: 1:44pm On Apr 17, 2023 |
Freo:I'm not interested in all this your adulation. All I'm interested in is the representation of Muhammed as a moral character. I believe if you want to follow someone, then such person should be above board in terms of morality. You haven't shown me how Muhammed is morally superior to other humans to call him the greatest human. Any religious character with moral failings does not merit being called the greatest human. There's nothing in Muhammad's character that sets him apart from other humans with such moral laxity |

Kukutenla: Prophet Muhammad the greatest man(ﷺ) was born in Saudi Arabia in the city of Makkah about 1400 years ago.Since then the world has not seen the likes of Him in every regard and the study of human history shows that there have been none better than Him before Him as well. The key factor that brings reverence and respect to Prophet in both Islamic and non-Islamic circles is His character. He was the best in character and He also said about in one of His hadiths in the following way: ❝God has sent me to perfect good manners and to do good deeds.❞ [Bukhari] The general notion regarding Islam and Prophet is that they both encouraged violence in people and were and are not in favor of peace. It is totally baseless, because the religion Islam itself is peace and Prophet was a lover of peace. He wanted people to live in harmony and always encouraged people resolve their differences by opting for peace, instead of going for violence. In one of His hadith Prophet (Peace be upon him) said: ❝Let us go to resolve the situation and make peace between them.❞ [Bukhari] Thus, Muslims should spread His message of peace by giving examples out of the actions He undertook to ensure peace. Whether it be animals, women, children, orphans, enemies, fellow Muslims, followers, elders, or it be anyone in the society, for everyone of them Prophet was considerate. He would love children and orphans, He would treat animals fairly, He would give women their rights, He would respect the elders, He would provide what people asked of Him, thus He was considerate to everyone without any discrimination. Prophet Muhammad the greatest man said : ❝I stand up for prayer intending to prolong it. In the meantime I hear the wailing of a baby and I have to shorten my prayer, being apprehensive lest my recitation of a long verse may tell upon the baby’s mother.❞ [Bukhari] - - - I know a hypocrite when i read about one, but the prophet does not have that hypocritical character you're trying to implement on him, i wish you could try to view everything from another perspective. |

Freo:All this your copy and paste does not answer the question I raised. Mind you, that's only one of the many immoral acts of Muhammed and yet, you're finding to difficult to explain away. It is easy to claim anybody is anything. What validate or invalidate such claims is their acts. |
