GeneralShepherd: Bro. Please ignore him. I've been following your threads right back from when you went to UK to do your Masters. I even remembered a particular page where you expressed your fears for the future and the uncertainty surrounding you. Happy to know you are going better today. Cheers. |

My guy I can understand and feel your pain! Me Sef get almost the same story line! But my advise is, just remain persevered, hopeful and optimistic for the best! I assure you, you will definitely get over it and everything would be fine! No need to call for refund of your tuition and come back home to restart again just remain focus and dogged in this trying time. I am confident things would get better over time! Cheers guy!! |

IbeOkehie: I am talking about when you are born and bred in Nigeria. Back in Nigeria, everything moves slowly lazy like an agrarian society. So people get used to that slowly lazy lifestyle where almost everybody wants quick easy fast money. So when they move here to America or Europe, which is purely hard hard work, they find it hard and complain. 2 Likes |

Bigcoconut: Dear I am doing construction labour job in Toronto weekdays and Weekends I work as dishwasher in a restaurant I wish I could post videos of what I did yesterday for 10 hours lifting heavy items and mobbing moving to pick dishes cleaning meat machine and other equipments, this is not those small restaurants in naija these are big restaurants where you can wash over 20,000 dishes using hot water. If I post the videos here no one will want to come to canada again. Here is not easy . I was doing pretty good back home and I thank God I Invested home so I can come back anytime when I finally get tired. On the outside looking it many people don’t know what is going on here in canada. They only hear the name canada and everyone want to come here. I advice my friends in Europe to stay back in Europe one of them didn’t listen to my advice, that God be came on holiday trip and saw what is going on here in canada . If you buy a house here it can take upto 50years to pay up mortgage if you are still alive and if the house isn’t foreclosed for payment fail failure except you are those african politicians who bring stolen funds from Africa to Come and buy houses here. 5 Likes 1 Share |

poseidon12: Very correct. Nigerians lie online a lot for clout and make everything look real and everything cozy it’s very hard out here . My focus is to save whatever penny I am making and focus on investing every dollar in nigeria so that I will get something to fall back on because I can’t last in this canada , it’s not for me. It’s hard out here |

justwise: Dear except you are politician children who live on stolen funds , no matter how much you come in here with , within few months without job you will be close to broke, If you come to Toronto with 15,000,000million naira changed to cad , you will end up spending it on rent and food within 1year and few months, now tell me how many people can even afford 15m in nigeria , how many civil servants can raise 15m easily in nigeria |

What province are you ? You have been in canada for 2yrs? are you still in school? Canada is like climbing steps , na one at a time. Do not rush it. Look for another job if this job is too hard. there are lots of jobs out there. Yes na bills we come pay for this country, but e betta pass naija , 1million % Be patient, check indeed for jobs, what are you studying ? I was in your shoes a while back, now i no even wan go back naija. if no b visit. again Canada na step by step. except you are a surgeon / dr or something very specific, it is not soft at first. but it gets better with time. focus on your strengths and work with that. remove all your naija thinking. you will be fine. it takes time. |

mployer: It is an objective fact that there are more poor people in Nigeria than in Canada. It is not wise for the OP to start complaining as a student where in the world are students balling? I went through the same process, you work hard, study hard and leave the rest to God. |
