Chidiebubeoji:Nope ooo. This is for side placing. Fertigatiom is every 2 weeks. Spraying Potassium Nitrate, Calcium Sulphate and Magnesium Sulphate works better than fertigating them. Spray Calcium and Magnesium from week one and Magnesium from week Three 1 Like 1 Share |

FarmTech:This your bagging style na wa ooo, it will consume lots of cukes before you fill it up. Weldone boss. Why don't you prune your plant?? |
Re: My Cucumber Farm Dairy by FarmTech(m): 3:56pm On Apr 09, 2023 |

Re: My Cucumber Farm Dairy by Chidiebubeoji: 4:51pm On Apr 10, 2023 |
FarmTech:Your plants are looking very healthy sir. Congrats. But this your bagging style is still shocking me . Honestly. Please sir, if you don't mind me asking some questions, 1. Please what's your plant population that gave you this nice harvest? 2. Is it pig manure. 3. Which fertilizers are you using for the project? Mine is about to commence. Rain fed. Any advice is welcomed sir |
Re: My Cucumber Farm Dairy by FarmTech(m): 11:15pm On Apr 10, 2023 |
Chidiebubeoji:. . Unfortunately, I'm yet to count the plant population but I have that in mine. Initially I used pig manure in the planting holes and every week or so I side dress with chicken manure. Fertilizer is 20 10 10. Timely fertilizer application is very important. I apply weekly at 30ml per plant. Pest control and watering too. |

Alright. Thanks So sir, how is your experience with pig manure? Did you still use the quantity of half herbicide container per plant? Because it's what I used. Also added little quantity of chicken manure though. Just one heavy rain to soak down the manure, and then, the journey begins.

Re: My Cucumber Farm Dairy by Chidiebubeoji: 7:06pm On May 01, 2023 |
mustybay:Sir, not sure if your question is for me or the boss farmerakinloye. Me: I'm planting soon. Cu999 (African Giant) variety. |

Chidiebubeoji:The question is for @ farmerakinloye, thanks |
Re: My Cucumber Farm Dairy by Farmerakinloye6(m): 7:31am On May 02, 2023 |
Chidiebubeoji:Good and ( free) cheap. Yes that is what am using at moment. Always make sure your manure is at least (completely dry and free of maggots) a month, but I prefer 6 month -1 year own. Always mix after you apply it, manure that is not dry completely can harm/kill plant. Between I sold 8k flat today. 1 Like |
Re: My Cucumber Farm Dairy by Chidiebubeoji: 7:43pm On May 02, 2023 |
Farmerakinloye6:Thanks a lot. The pig manure I got was super dry and light in weight. I belt it should be more than a year . It has almost 0% water retention capacity on it's own. Unlike chicken manure that gets heavy and extremely soggy after rain, The pile pig manure in my farm no even no say rain dey fall. |
