Hello Nairaland family, I am delighted to be here.
I have some few questions.

1. I will like to if there is any link to connect with students who are in university of Saskatchewan already?
2. Is there any cheap direct flight from Abuja to saskatoon?
3. Affordable shared student apartments close to university of Saskatchewan?

Thank you.

Hi, if you are a female student coming to the university of Windsor or st Clair college (windsor downtown) for May 2023 session and you are looking for an apartment, send me a message.

I am looking for a very neat individual as it is a very tidy apartment and I plan to keep it that way.
Also, you get a room to yourself (not shared)
Kitchen, washroom, parlour and dining room (shared).
In-house laundry room.
Parking space and storage room also available.

Hello

I am currently 31 weeks pregnant and will be traveling to Calgary at 35 weeks. I’ve already secured a visitors visa and accommodation.
I plan on delivering my baby in Calgary would like some help please.

Can anyone please suggest a good cheap GP or OB/GYNAE in Calgary area? I will be living specifically in the SE area.

I’ve read almost all the posts on the other thread but most of the info has been posted 5years for Calgary. There’s a new system there that has been established for birth tourists. Any idea please?
Has anyone experienced delivering in Rockyview or South Health Campus?

Help a sister out please 🙏

I don’t know how this works but if you’re coming to Calgary specifically for giving birth, then shouldn’t you have pre-arranged a doctor to consult with? It’s a general doctor that typically gives you that referral to an OBYGYN, I don’t think you can self-refer to a specialist.

We had our baby at South Health Campus and it went well. The have a dedicated neonatal wing separate from other parts of the gigantic hospital. We got a private room which can house the mother and a family member. Everything functioned as it should. If you’re going to be in the SE (again depending on where you are in the SE) then SHC is the best location.

All the best.

Thank you for your response.
I did contact a few clinics and hospitals there but they want to me to be physically in Canada and even then they cannot guarantee an appointment as it depends on the doctor it seems.

Was it easy for you to get an an appointment with South Health Maternity? Did you need referral from general doctor? If so, could you please provide the details of the GD and the OB so I can contact them? Will make things a lot easier as I’m already short on time. cry

Rent is increasing every year in Toronto and GTA. This is making the situation very bad for jobless newcomers.

everyone there is facing the same situation. Interest rates have gone up so mortgage repayments too have gone up. You must not stay in Toronto and GTA you know. London , windsor and other cheaper towns are in Ontario. You never apply for visa you don dey talk rent. Dont come 🤣

My people, for anyone living in Calgary who needs accommodation downtown, I have a lease with a REIT that expires on June 30th. However, I am leaving a month earlier (MAY 31st) and need someone to take over the space.

The current market value is $1699-$1979, but I pay less than that for 2 bedrooms, storage, one bath, a balcony, a closet and parking.

Send me a message if this is of interest to you and I can share more details.
