Nothing yet, just apart from visa document number and visa expiration date on the new portal.

Sorry to ask, is it only on the new portal an applicant can see this?

Good Morning guys,

I'm submitting my online application for Canada Visit Visa.
I Uploaded the required documents but I still have other documents about my children, properties own, etc which are to help explain ties to my country. The option to do this is not found on the page but not sure if it will be provision for extra supporting document upload would be provided on subsequent page(s). Information I got from online enquiries are quite vague and most are not directly related to visit visa.

Assistance on this is very much appreciated!!

Thanks to all and thanks all for the time and great effort in supporting and sharing experiences which have been helpful to so so many.

You will need to merge the documents with the others as a single file and upload under client information or other section as applicable. You can use ilovepdf to merge and compress .

Do you mean old portal or new? I know someone that recently got approved and the visa expiration date and document number isn't showing on the new portal (like it used to show on the old portal). So, I just want to be sure
Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by drhammed: 11:20am On Apr 09, 2023
I'd attach all these as part of your LOE (as a single pdf) and you can upload under the supporting document

Yes only on the new portal.

I have not reapplied on the new portal oo. I used the old portal in 2020, but I just got BVL this April 2023.

Please do I need to do anything on the new portal?

Or I should just stick with my application on the old portal as though they are treating it too??

Little confused πŸ˜–

Oh I see. You linked old portal to new one? That may be right. We tried linking new to old (with hope it'd show visa info) but not possible.

You applied in 2019? Wow, that's way too long o. Maybe you can contact them or request GCMS note to know what's up.

Thanks for the advice, however, I can't find LOE. Could you clarify on that please. Also I'm not sure the volume of document would fit as a single file as being instructed.

Thanks

LOE- letter of explanation. Ideally when you apply, all those home ties and necessary documents (including job stuff) should go as supporting documents in LOE.

Also, if they're PDFs, you can merge them together and compress.

Another thing you could (I did in the past) is to create a google drive link and hyperlink some in your letter. Hope that helps!

Good luck.

I need the guidance of anyone here in UK, London that applied for Canada visiting visa and submitted and collected their passport. In my own case, I just got the request to submit my passport today and it kind of clash with my travel to Morocco in the next 30 days. How long does it take you to get back passport after submitting to VFS london.

Thanks

Today makes it exactly 1 year and I’ve even forgotten about it since I was going for a conference that finished already. I just got the response today. By the way, I applied on the old IRCC

Hi Man mi!

I have gotten over sixty pages supporting document file (7.7KB) as LOE with title pages in between.

Is it ok to simply copy the document link I got and paste it on a page in MS Word, write brief description note that directs the VO to click on the link below for the LOE?

Will the VO consider opening the document file to get the message, click on the link and download to view the supporting documents file as requested?

Thanks man. Sorry I came knocking again. Just trying to get it right this very first time.

Dear House, Please what is the meaning of this correspondence letter.?? I just saw this today.
I applied for a visiting visa since 2020
And it has been pending all this while.
Just today I noticed they updated the above letter after I sent an email to Canadian embassy here in the UK where I currently based informing them that I will be attending my youngest brother wedding coming up 29th of April 2023.
I requested that they should take over my application because of my current location and address. Please anyone with similar experience. I presumed they are working on it
Hi,
Pls can you share the process you used to ask for transfer? I'm in a similar situation and looking to fast track by all possible means before I decide to submit a new application.

It’s only a tourist/visitor visa to have my sibling visit from Nigeria.

I asked my MP and he responded that both have been passed waiting for final decision.
