i jumped into marriage because of two things:
1. I was not blessed financially when I was young. my own blessing came late. I wouldn't have been able to take care of my family if I forced myself into it, I started making money when I was 37yrs.
2. next reason is that am close to 40yrs. age was really the factor why I have to rush into marriage.
those are the two things that make me to jump into marriage.

Generally speaking, most men in Nigeria marry for procreation (to have kids that will continue their family lineage).


Only few Nigerian men marry for love or companionship.



Most women in Nigeria marry to secure their future financially or economically, most marry to escape family poverty so any man that shows quality of being able to take care of them, assure them and their unborn kids a secured future, they marry him without considering other of his qualities which is why we have too many unhappy/cheating married women in Nigeria of recent.
