Please I got a mac mid 2009 but it so useless cant use it for any thing, please how can i make it work?
can install windows or the latest mac os. The feels so good to use but useless right now.

Open the laptop and check inside... there's one heavy shiny gold looking metal you can market now for huge amount.

Not everyone can afford expensive items. You of all people should know that.

The 2009 MBP would still run linux or even a modem mac os with OCLP.

It's by making good choice with limited resources you have.

I'm sure the amount he spent on this can get him a better Hp or any Windows based laptop... I believe he didn't make any research before collecting the Mac the gave to him where he got his.


Unless the laptop was a gift or dash it's money poorly spent... it will only frustrate his life more trying to tweak the system to run current applications that weren't built for system of 2009

You can patch it up with Mac Os catalina.

Google Dosdude’s catalina.

If you want linux, you can go ahead but the NVIDIA is the problem. Its hard getting optimus to work well on dedicated graphics on mac. It will work but drain battery.
