So Osihmen is joining Bayern come season's end. Tuchel's approval is all that's needed.

With Lobotka in that midfied and Ndombele too, Napoli can still turn things around when Osimhen returns, of course with Kvara present too.

Exactly.

Anguissa's absence wouldn't be much of a problem. The real problem is Kim MinJae. The referee was just unfortunate

yes is unpredictable but your submission is baseless. Napoli losing 1 nil today is a big plus knowing how Milan messed them up in their last meeting. Is not yet over. Is clear that osimhen is very important to this Napoli. Wait till they are fully eliminated.

It is hard for an opposition defense to play with full confidence when you have a tireless striker like Osimhen lurking and pressing. It is even harder for an opposition team to start a comfortable build up from behind when you have a striker like Osimhen who as a striker also plays as his team's first line of defense. Without Osimhen, Napoli's midfied got exposed.

Arsenal are interested in signing Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise, FootballTransfers understands.

The 21-year-old has emerged as one of the most promising youngsters in the Premier League and Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is a big fan of the player.

This season the left-footed Olise has an impressive eight assists in 29 Premier League appearances, plus two goals.

European Assists King 2022/23

Arteta believes that Olise ticks all the boxes he desires in terms of age, likely cost and resale potential.

Olise is seen as the ideal backup on the right wing to Bukayo Saka.

The 21-year-old’s best role is as a right sided outside forward or winger, but he has also often featured as an attacking central midfielder.

Arteta stated recently how important it is to bring in Premier League-proven players to the club and Olise would fit the bill perfectly here rather than gambling on a foreign-based star like Bayer Leverkusen’s Moussa Diaby or Eintracht Frankfurt’s Jesper Lindström.

How much will Michael Olise cost?
Crystal Palace would be looking for at least £40 million for Olise, who still has three years left on his contract.

Palace are thus under no pressure to sell, but if the right offer was presented by Arsenal, and with possible pressure put on the club by the player, it would be hard to turn down.

The France Under-21 international is also an Arsenal fan, which could help the Gunners in negotiations.

There is also reportedly a release clause written into the player’s contract, although this is not confirmed.

The cost of the deal could determine whether this transfer goes further as Arsenal have already shown this year with Mykhailo Mudryk that they won't be extorted.

There is also the possibility that Palace’s asking price will be reduced to around £35m if they are relegated this season. Relegation now seems unlikely, though, after a two-game winning streak under caretaker manager Roy Hodgson

Hate is a loathing , intense dislike it's often irrational.

The summary of his 5 seasons in La Liga amount to exceptional outstanding continuous and top end performances accord to you.

Last season scored 3 goals, season before that 4 goals, and the season before that 3 goals. He scores 6 goals this season so far it's very good. But it is not exceptional to warrant a €100 million transfer fee.

Saying the obvious amounts to hate according to you .

Osimhen was obviously outstanding. When you're good enough but still have to pay, it means the corruption is very gross.

U17 is not an investment, we are leveraging on talents to win cups. Only academies and clubs (due to salaries) are qualified to be seen as investors.

If you factor in egunje like you said, then the talk of "when you're good, you're good" won't matter at all... It was even reported that Osimhen kind of gatecrashed that u-17 list...

U-17 is an investment to some extent.. at least in a country like Nigeria where our league doesn't get enough exposure.. the u-17 world cup is the fastest way for agents to market their players. If Osimhen hadn't played for the u-17, he probably could still have made it far in his football career anyway, but given his story (coming from grass), it could have taken a bit longer.

How many Many La Liga goals is the pertinent assessment ❓

Carney Chukwuma was an outstanding youth player that Liverpool missed the opportunity to buy. He was and continues to be exceptionally oustanding.

Why did B. Dortmund pay £25 million for a 16 year old Jude Billingham playing in the Championship for Birmingham ❓

Mudryk was over valued at £62 million, nonetheless Chelsea are used to making big gaffs with players. Timo Werner, a classic example as well as quite a few others. He has been far from impressive looks like another wsstrdy expenses.

Your inference that , " those are decent stats " is probably true. However, they are far from exceptional and certainly don't equate to a €100 million transfer valuation fee.

A few years ago we had this chaotic brouhaha about Chukwueze, he is much better than Saka, Sancho, Vinicius, etc. It all ended with nothing.

Arnaut left Championship from Bournemouth AFC to Villarreal as a winger for a mere €25 million and scored 10 goals that season from 23 hames. And Chukwueze scored 3 from 27 games. So by comparison it means even in his team he was not the stand out performer.

He had a great oustanding performance against Real it's got him in the front shop window. It creates expectations, the next few games are pivotal for him to replicate similar performances. If not it becomes a " flash in the pan '

Carney Chukwuemeka with zero professional career goals in over 30 games as a winger is exceptionally outstanding? But you rained hell on Osimhen who emerged the best player at the u-17 world cup and was yet to score a professional career goal at Wolfsburg despite showing a lot of promise..

Carney Chukwuma is actually a Midfielder , it seems you didn't know that.

He is only 19, he was denied game time at Villa when he refused to renew his contract . He is now at Chelsea with multiple top level players, he only going to get little game time. Thats the reality of being at Chelsea.

What was the hell I rained on V.O. I gave objective constructive advice which he essentially followed to the letter. As if I had spoken to him one on one. Stop telling infantile lies to suit your false narrative.

Hr didn't show any promise at Wolfsburg another lie, the best thing he did was to leave.

The unit of measurement is always league Goals 🥅 not cup games goals with low level opposition. That gives a skewed view of a players competencies.

How many league goals has he scored in La Liga over 5 seasons, that is the more apt assessment.

Sane and Mane will complement and not compete with osimhen
Osimhen knows how to disturb full backs so that the opposition cannot build attacks from the back
and so he keeps the ball in attack and even the defensive midfielder has to help out the defenders
when he is playing.
He is a pressing striker and few strikers in world football have this quality.
As a result, he is a compliment to the team and he cannot easily be benched.
He is comming to play Lewandoskie striker role but with his own unique pressing style of play.
Sane and Mane are wingers so there is really no competition although osimhen can manage as a wing forward.
Osimhen is also mobile anyway.
but his pressing is what really sets him apart.
Another thing is that Osimhen knows how to disorganize a defence with his pressing and hustling so that
the other forwards and midfielders can move in to score due to the gaps he will create when disturbing the opposing teams defence
Again few strikers in the modern game have this quality
So therefore i dont see him been benched.
It is like saying women will compete with men to give birth.
The men plant the seed and the women carry the pregnancy.

At the moment Bayern Munich have a Lewandoski-sized hole which they haven't properly replaced so as the only proper number 9 Osimhen will most likely have many opportunities to start. Mane, Sane and Gnabry are wide forwards who will not be Victor's direct competition.

Now as to if he will be able to cope not being the 'starboy' as you put it Victor worked hard to become the main man at Napoli. Nothing was handed to him he made every effort to repay the trust of the Napoli owner and coach. I'm optimistic that this will be the same if Bayern decides to buy him. I'm not in Tuchel's mind but I know he's a smart coach who will know how to utilize Osimhen's best qualities.

Personally I find the potential move intriguing because Victor has unfinished business in Germany.

So BBC has this article on Gift Organ
https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/65232678

West Ham will face Belgium side Gent in the Europa Conference League quarter-final on Thursday, well aware of the danger of one of Europe's hottest strikers.

Gift Orban was a total unknown less than two months ago, but his first steps among the game's elite will have left Europe's top sides watching his goalscoring exploits with much interest.

Playing in the Norwegian Second Division for Stabaek as recently as October, the Nigerian 20-year-old has scored nine goals in just eight Belgian League matches and five goals in four Europa League appearances.

It was his second-leg hat-trick against Basaksehir that fired Gent into the last eight and he will be hoping to enhance his fast-growing reputation against the Hammers in Thursday's home leg.

A one-of-a-kind story'

Orban's unique journey started in November 2021, when Stabaek's sporting director Torgeir Bjarmann made his annual trip to Nigeria to attend an amateur tournament - and returned in no doubt about who his club should sign.

Bjarmann, was at Lyn Oslo when former Chelsea and Nigeria midfielder John Obi Mikel played there, and signed Odion Ighalo, who later made his name at Watford and ended up at Manchester United.

"It was a very physical tournament and Gift stood out with his scoring abilities and link-up play. I decided to invite him to our pre-season training camp," recalled Bjarmann.

Coaches were not overly impressed at the start, though, and Orban returned to his homeland in February when his visa expired.

"I had to be more persuasive to sign him on loan, but the original idea was for Gift to play for the reserve team in the fourth division," added Bjarmann. "He scored in every game there, so we gave him a chance in a cup fixture in June. He netted twice, remained in the squad and never looked back."

Stabaek, who were surprisingly relegated the previous season, earned an instant return to Norway's top flight - thanks in no small part to Orban's goals.

Even though he only joined in the middle of the campaign, he ended up as the league's top scorer with 16 goals in 19 matches, and added seven assists.

Gift is extremely hungry for success and possesses a true winning mentality," said Bjarmann. "He works hard in training every day and makes himself heard. I had high expectations of him, but he exceeded them."

Stabaek midfielder Fredrik Krogstad added: "Usually it takes an African player about a year to adjust to Norwegian football, because style and culture are very different.

"Gift adapted amazingly fast, it was just crazy. He learned everything very quickly and became a leader.

"He is a funny guy who likes to laugh and dance, but becomes very serious in training sessions and matches. His mentality is very strong and the desire to win knows no bounds. It really was a one-of-a-kind story."

Dreams of Premier League or Bundesliga'

Stabaek planned to keep Orban for their top-flight campaign, but were forced to change their mind when big offers came in.

On the last day of the January transfer window, the Nigerian signed for Gent for 3.5m euros (£3.06m), which was considered a major gamble by the Belgian press for someone who had only played a few months in the Norwegian Second Division.

"The price was supposed to be lower, but it went up after David Datro Fofana was sold from Molde to Chelsea for 12m euros (£10.5m)," said Gent's chief executive Michel Louwagie. "It was a risk, but head of recruitment Samuel Cardenas kept telling me every day that we absolutely must sign him."

Cardenas added: "From the first time I watched Gift, I saw something special in him. His movement is exceptional, he is complete in the sense that he can combine and score in every way technically

We were brave to gamble on him, but my opinion was trusted and it pays off to be bold. I would lie, though, if I said that I expected him to perform so fast."

Nobody could possibly have predicted Orban's phenomenal impact over the past couple of months,

He scored twice at Westerlo on his debut, which was delayed because he had to get a work permit, and has proceeded to surprise team-mates, opponents and fans ever since.

Orban scored a stunner to beat Anderlecht 1-0, netted four goals in the second half in a 6-2 win at Zulte Waregem and hit a four-minute hat-trick in the 4-0 win at Istanbul Basaksehir.

He is not just a predator in the penalty area, but a versatile attacker who loves moving to the wings, making spaces for others and shooting from distance.

It is possible to compare him to Jonathan David, the Canadian star whom we sold to Lille in 2020, and who is now the top scorer in Ligue 1," added Louwagie. "Gift might even be a more complete striker, because he has vision and is a good passer."

"I am not surprised he took off so fast in Belgium. He is bound to have more chances with better team-mates, and he knows how to take those chances," added Norwegian Krogstad.

Could he be ready to make the next step in the summer already, possibly to England?

VRT commentator Peter Vandenbempt said: "Gift came out of nowhere and took the league by storm. Football is tough in Belgium and strikers are not given spaces like in the Dutch league, but he just thrived. I have never seen a player who entered the competition so smoothly.

"He is extremely self confident and managed to solve the problems that Gent had scoring goals. Gift is an open character too and wasn't shy to turn on loud music in the dressing room early in the morning.

"He says that he dreams of playing in the Premier League or Bundesliga - and he could make it. The couple of games against West Ham are like two job interviews for him."

The Hammers have been warned.
