Anambra and Abia used to compete over 1st and 2nd. Abia has been knocked out of the top ten, while Anambra has dropped to the 3rd position. Despite the high literacy in Imo, it is not on the top ten of the best results. Sokoto and Nasarawa have moved into the top ten league.

If Obiano met Anambra the way Soludo met it by now Anambra will be competiting with Lagos. Soludo is the luckiest Anambra governor because he met everything already working for him, he met Anambra as an oil producing state, met Anambra Airport and ICC, a fast developing Awka with flyovers, a vibrant education and health sector, ANSIPPA, AHIS, ACDTA, a decent IGR base. Compare this to Obiano that met a village with no projects, over 120 billion in debt, no streetlight, no flyovers, a dead capital, poorly paid workers, kidnapping capital of Nigeria then you will agree Obiano was able to turn around a mess. Isn't it shameful that Peter obi ran his presidential campaign using obiano projects, that's how bad his tenure was.

we know you are only jealous Obiano had the foresight and vision to build Anambra laudable and lagacy projects and not obi without any project to his name after 8 years of oil boom. This is why you will keep mentioning Obiano forever. Ok, even if we agree Anambra Airport is not profitable, atleast it is profitable to obi and his wife who go there almost everyday now to take pictures and mount his campaign billboards while you are here talking nonsense. Ezi.
You just stated the facts! GBAM!!!

Even me as Soludo's supporter have found it difficult to show his handiwork until very recently when he flagged off roads before the last elections. Obiano won 2 terms purely because he performed and showed he had concrete plans about how to develop Anambra even before he became governor.

Soludo came in being clueless except for dancing and writing useless grammar. As if good governance is a marker of who writes unwarranted essays.

I think he is gradually learning from the last elections that only performance in delivery of good governance and not dissertation essays will save him. I'm glad to notice his recent efforts on roads. Let's hope it was not all a gimmick to flag off many roads on the eve of elections. I just hope he does not think the people are not smart just because they hail him as a prof.

No serious-minded person believes Nigerian data. But if this is true, it is very concerning.

High rate of literacy in Imo state is same as high rate of developed cities in SW.

They only use their hands to fit themselves into scheme of things.

West will say they are highly educated but all forms of barbaric behavior sleeps.

Imo will tell you they are highly educated but can't make impact to elect a good leader or show signs of development rather they will recruit themselves willingly into Ipob.

Dont mind these Animals, check all the records of best performing states in Nigeria over the past 8 years, its only Anambra you will find in all the South East, all other SE states are dead. This is why I'm happy about the Govt house being done by Soludo, we wont have any reason not to host any SE meetings in Anambra after that project is completed. Instead of them to start begging their governors to perform like Obiano they are busy creating several monikers to hate.

Quite agree with this postulation

Just imagine if that place were to be Lagos or Portharcourt, you will see massive infrastructures, beautiful environs like that of shell, well tared ground and atmosphere. Now because it's in Anyamelum LGA his home town, see how a gas plant is looking like a fillings station. Anambra man build things according the mentality of "here is village", let's do it anyhow, take the profit to build and develop headquarters in Lagos. I have seen how other huge projects they have executed looks like in other states, this one looks like a joke.

Magnificent 👍
The amount of investment coming to Anambra Is something else, last time I traveled we drive to Nimo market to buy some stuff and I saw a gigantic company along Nimo-Neni road, is so huge that we have to come down and was asking the people what they will produce there but they don’t seems to know, we saw many Chinese inside the factory from the gate tho the gate was locked

I think the company will soon commence, they are installing some equipments

In the next ten or fifteen years to come, Anambra state might be the most industrialized state in the country

God bless Ala Igbo.

Firstly there's no gas field in Lagos.

Secondly, what I'm seeing here is in of the neatest and serene gas field I've seen.

Come to SS communities and see how oil companies degrade the environment.

Ibeto coming from Anambra will surely give this project a sense of home stakeholdership .and nobody wants to destroy his home.

Is it for domestic use or power generation. From the picture,it looks more like it's for domestic use ie a station for selling gas for cooking.. correct me if I'm wrong tho

Both domestic and power. The Chinese company setting up the plant for industrial gas for power are still working there and may complete it before the end of this year or next year.
The gas well is in Enugwu Otu Aguleri under Anambra State Owned Oil company called Orient Petroleum. A lot more companies are coming there for Gas production.
