My sister own was submitted last week and she has gotten her own. You need to call or contact to know what's wrong.

No message yet that’s my worry, and by 15th it will be a month have submitted it, I just want know if anyone here is facing the same issue or has face this kind of thing before how did he or she overcame it
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by don4real: 9:30pm On Apr 13, 2023
This is not true. I got someone who is stidying in Canada but went with visitor visa. He applied for student permit inside canada
bullstriker:
A visitor visa does not make you eligible to apply from inside Canada, although there are exceptions. One such exception is completing a course or program that is a prerequisite to securing admission at a DLI. Otherwise, an application to obtain a study permit must be made outside Canada.

Pls can I use Letter of support instead of gift of deed. Because my sponsor (third-party) is ready to transfer Tuition fee balance and living expenses to my account to show commitment.

Use deed of gift. However you still need to show sponsor bank statement to substantiate your claim

You can travel anytime you like. Just make sure you have your pof abd necessary documents with you. In fact IRCC advice students to travel as soon as they receive their visa to avoid busy travel period

Congrats.

Your sponsor balance(18k) and yours(13k) , is it naira?

Zeed13:
I got a PPR. and here are my timeline and document submitted.
3rd-time applicant
First rejection December 2022: Uploaded a soon-to-expire residence permit card (A month left), was rejected based on the status of residence. Didnt get GCMS after rejection and applied immediately.
Second rejection February 2023: Finance, program selection, and limited work in country of residence.
This time I applied for notes and it helped in understanding the reason for rejection and how to tackle it. Also, I didn't show my sponsor residence status as indicated by the review officer. And my SOP was not that good.

Repackage and resubmitted:

All IMM forms
SOP of 3 pages addressing why this study, who is sponsoring etc
Past rejections and I addressed what is new (Showing my residence status new and expired)
Travel histories (Europe travel)
Resident Cards in Europe (expired and new cards both uploaded)
proof of assets co-owned by me and my sponsor (husband)
Sponsor proof of assets (house) in Naija
Sponsor business in Naija
Sponsor work in Europe (Researcher)
My bank statement (13K)----
Sponsors bank (18K)--------- sponsor sold his crypto and included proof of investment dated 2020 and step-by-step withdrawal
Tuition deposit (1st year) of a 2-year program
Sponsor access to a loan of 6K Eur
Sponsor Naija closing balance of 9Million
Sponsor is not travelling with me at the moment---used him as home ties
Recommendation from my place of work
Payslips of my work and freelance work
Family pictures
Picture with Sponsor
Police report (Naija and Europe)

Thank you all for your contribution.

Order GCMS notes to understand the concerns of the VO. Then tackle the concerns and reapply.

Pls try to listen, to avoid regrets later. What u need here is letter nd affidavit of sponsorship and establish ur relationship with the so called third party. Leave gift deed out of this. There is difference between a sponsor and someone just gifting u money. A sponsor does not need a deed to show his commitment to u, what he needs is to show his relationship with u, why he’s sponsoring u and that he’s financially capable to do so (via his bank statement). Note that he is not gifting u money here per say, he is sponsoring u so whatever money he sent to ur account is a show of commitment to keep to his promise not a philanthropic act.

Hi everyone. Please I would be very glad if anyone can help me with this question. As regards the Nigerian Student Express (NSE) study permit option which requires a minimum of 30,000 CAD on ones bank account to cover first year tuition and living expenses , IELTs and upfront medicals. Does someone who has paid his full year tuition fee upfront but has about 18000CAD in bank account and additional financial funding support from his/her Canadian university also qualified for it?

NSE is no longer available. Use your available funds to apply normally. The wait time now is quite reduced

People like you discourage knowledgeable people from helping out with your baseless argument. This person needs correct information to make an informed decision and plan his future. Yet, here you are arguing over some time you have never done, don’t know how it works, and probably, don’t even know what applying from inside Canada means.
