I think it’s because they are from the same Kogi Central. Heard the guy Ododo that Yahaya is backing is from Kogi West.

Nope. He is from kogi central. He wants the central to rule for 16 years to equate the east Meanwhile West has never rule the state.

Such is the pathetic case of kogi state.

The best shot the west has had I think was when Audu died and Faleke thought he'd take over. Those Mopa, Yagba, Kabba, Ijumu people etc will have to wait another 8 years because Johnny Bravo is not it at all

You suppose know that the period between winning election and taking a seat is not the time for media appearances but a time to take 10,000 phone calls from Godfathers all over Nigeria looking to get their people into office.

Rest assured, a lot of work is going on, in the Nigerian sense that the intray for a President elect is full with settling different stakeholders. Tinubu is working . . . .in the way all Nigerian politicians work in the period between winning election and taking their seat.
That has been my fear......no changes whatsoever from the politics we have been experiencing...

But atleast, his appearance maybe once is okay,he forsook his birthday too....

I just hope and pray he is okay...cos i detest power in the hands of those northerners....

Unfortunately it is only at the national level there is an attempt to pretend there will be power sharing.

When audu was there, the issue was that the igalas had been ruling and would not release power. Now bello, an ebira is doing the same thing. Short of a force majeur this will continue indefinitely unless there is a major upset, at which point the tribe that enters rinses and repeats.

This is also what wike an Ikwerre man has done in ph if I am not miscafonting.

There are things you do that will endear others to you and some will turn sympathisers against you even when fighting a just cause; Achebe mentioned an incident during the Nigerian Civil War in There Was A Country that turned foreign allies who were in support of the Biafran side during the war I think it was hostage taking. Similarly, I see the same script playing out post-election by attacking, harassing and intimidating others who says something positive or negative that doesn't align with the thoughts and feelings of some supporters. You are only giving others reason not to take your cause seriously and this will lead to the eventual downfall of the movement.
Yes. They captured some white men working at the oil rig. The negative perception was terrible and it ended with the Ojukwu releasing them after the Pope wrote a letter to him.

I hope it won’t be trashy . Agogo ewo was enough sequel for Saworoide and the message was well passed .

Somehow I’m not pleased with this idea of a Saworoide sequel which may just be fueled by the need of TK to collect out of the carrots Amazon Prime and Netflix are dangling in front of Nigerian creatives now. Make TK shoot another epic film and forget doing a sequel to a movie he has already done a sequel to in 2002
Good points.

Abeg allow Uncle TK to drink from the well too. Even if no new idea comes he has done enough for the industry for him to share from the Amazon largesse too.
If Netflix/Amazon can pay him for Saworoide Parts 3,4, and 5 e no bad. Stallone wey do Rocky and Rambo up to Part 50 no get 2 head. Or Fast and the Furious wey don reach Part 100.

This is the kind of hypocrisy I hate.

You guys keep condemning obidients for using the only weapon they have THEIR VOICES! Rather, THEIR FINGERS. But I don't see the negative reaction towards those who actually went out there and spilled blood of voters and actually physically harassed voters.

What kind of devilish hypocrisy is this?

Amoto94 I want to see your condemnation of the electoral malpractices carried out. I want you to direct me to where you condemned what happened in rivers and Lagos state by INEC.

Show me where you're calling out the injustices of the nigerian system.

Obidients are not prepared to accept surrender to the blatant injustice. They are fired up to tackle any enemy of this country that partakes in the hindrance of justice and equity whoever it might be.

I no blame una sha. I'm still blaming Obi who told his supporters to mellow, that's why all these rubbishes are happening. You steal from someone and still tell the person to shut up and move on. Again,I no blame una sha.

I'm not saying he shouldn't partake out of the Netflix/Amazon Largesse that is going around now, but he should do so with new body of works which will even further cement his legendary status. See Kunle Afolayan that TK casted for Saworoide that year, he's chopping the netflix money steady with new works. I'm sure a new project from TK will excite most young and mid-adults who enjoyed his works in the past.

You're right in all but your last paragraph, i believe SIM is a riverine man and not Ikwerre like Odili, Amaechi and Wike... Itsrm can correct me if I'm wrong. Back to the power sharing issue, when we were in the University I asked my hostel mate (he was a son of a prominent TIV doctor and heir to his father's hospital) why the Idomas cannot be Governor of Benue State... man laughed himself silly even the idomas amongst us were laughing, funny enough the matter extend reach their Kparakpo BSSU(Benue State students union) Idoma na vice and Tiv na president, no matter what.

Chimamanda left Nigeria at the age of 19. She has spent all of her adult life in the US. She is more American than Nigerian.

She was raised in enugu. She has not lived for a day in Anambra. Her sole 'experience' with Nigerian politics was another long letter over Arthur eze and ancestral land issues.

Chimamandas activism if you can call it that is limited to lazy/easy feminism. Advocating feminism is easy when you live in the US where all those battles have already been fought.

A completely disconnected writer who has zero actual experience of Nigerian politics, has japaed since the age of 19, and has repeatedly failed to use her perceived clout in other national matters - save Nigeria group, occupy nigeria, bbog, etal is a nakedly partisan voice.

Even more so when she claims to know Obi's record and reputation. I mean, we have the loudest supporters of Obi's twitter and Nairaland history to show us their true feelings on the man's capacity capability and competence.

At least ezekwesili has at different times actually been on ground to push for causes.

Seriously. A lot of pharisees on this board claiming they are fasting.

Their hypocrisy stinks. It really stinks.

Obidients are online and not harming any one. APC hoodlums are on ground hurting and killing people.. but these fake fasting pharisees were cheering they perpetrators of real crime.

Ain't nobody posturing nothing. Just calling you guys what you are - pharisees.

And I mean the ones on this board.

If you cheered hoodlums who injured people during election to get you the win. You shouldn't criticise oppositions for how they react afterwards. Not like Obidients are physically attacking anyone anyway. On Internet, every one has the power to fire back in equal measure.

And don't quote me wrongly thinking it's cristain vs Muslim. It is directed at few of you on this board.
